Dear Wade,

Thank you for building us the house of our dreams. The experience we had from the initial design phase with Dave Jakes, to the completion of the project was not only enjoyable, but amazingly stress free. The team we worked with, Carrie Hall, Jeremy Braband, and you were all professional and knowledgeable at all times. We were given options, honest opinions and guidance throughout the entire process. Your oversight and absolute involve-ment was always a reassurance. We also want you to know that all of the subcontractors we met during the process were obviously well skilled and polite. Your attention to detail was noted by almost all the subs we talked to as was their positive feedback about working with you. In addition, we were always treated with respect as was our property and neighbors. Unlike many building sites, your people always kept the areas clean making the project as unobtrusive as possible to the neighborhood.

Carrie and Jeremy were excellent project leaders. They clearly laid out schedules and plans and if there were any questions would contact us. We appreciated all the hand holding Carrie provided to us during all the selection process. Although we changed our minds mid stream on many items, Carrie and Jeremy were always accepting of the changes and informed us immediately of any changes in cost through the change order system you have structured.

In addition to the actual work on the house, I also want to complement Greg Moore on his ability to keep the project costs accounted for in an understandable and organized way. He was always able to provide me with any information I requested in a very timely manner.

Wade, we really love our home and we just want you to know how much we appreciate the effort you and your whole team put into the home. The craftsmanship, the design, and the follow through with every detail made the project much less overwhelming than we ever expected. Please know that we are proud to have a Hoyt Home and you truly live up to your company’s mission.

Congratulations on a job well done! You and your team deserve a great salute for your remodeling and expansion of our home in Missoula’s University District.

Our project was a relatively complex one. It involved increasing the size of the house by 1100 square feet, an increase of almost 70%. The plans called for a material change in the roofline, the addition of a new kitchen and two bathrooms, a complete renovation of an older home inside and out, and many built-ins and extras.

You delivered the project right on time, despite several discoveries along the way that increased the scope of the job. This came as the product of skillful on-site management of the subcontractors and by your careful monitoring of the project’s progress and tight coordination of the subcontractors. Progress seemed to be made each and every workday, often with multiple subcontractors on site simultaneously. This can only have come from your experience in projects similar to ours, years of working with the subcontractors, and from the desire of those subs to please you.

We also appreciated the way you kept us posted on the project as it evolved, working with us on the details up front and as they developed and making certain the work completed was of high quality. I imagine our daily visits to the worksite must have been an occasional challenge though we never felt in the way.

Finally, but importantly, we always felt that we were being dealt with fairly, directly and honestly.

We wish you well as you take on new projects. We would be pleased to talk with any prospective client about our experience in dealing with Hoyt Homes, and would be proud to show them the magical new old home you helped us build.

My home remodel project was a success thanks to the Hoyt crew. Their suggestions at the first walk-through gave me an idea of all the possibilities my house had. The archi-tect and kitchen designer put the ideas on paper and Hoyt Homes turned my house into a beautiful home.

Work crews were there when promised. Materials were delivered when promised. Each phase of the remodel was completed on time.

The stone work on the front of the house is beautiful. The addition in the kitchen is per-fect. The cabinets and appliances and counter tops look great. I can’t believe the whole project was completed in 3 ½ months!

I will recommend Wade and the crew at Hoyt Homes to anyone who asks.

“The family asked Wade to help them achieve four things; 1.) A bedroom with its own bath for the parents, 2.) A place for the kids to play, 3.) A guest room with bath for dot-ing grandparents, caring aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, friends and the occasionally dog or cat, and 4.) A clean and modern kitchen suitable for entertaining. Decker Archi-tecture, Hoyt Homes, and a group of talented specialty contractors were able to make those requests a reality.
