Issuing a tokenvia SMS
An SMS can be sent to request for a toky number. A response
will be received by the sender who requested for a toky number.
The process would be as follows
To get a toky number, user has to send ABC GET to
91XXXXXXXXXX.
If the user is sending a request to get a toky number for the first
time, he will be asked to register first. Once the registration
process is complete he will receive a toky number for ABC clinic.
Issuing a token via WEB
A user can also request a toky number over the web.
The process would be as follows
To request a toky number over the web, a user has to
visit the microsite of the establishment. Here we
presume the establishment to be ‘ABC’, thus he types
http://abc.toky.in in his browser. A PIN number along
with his mobile number is required to get a toky
number. In order to get a toky number online he must
first register his mobile number.
Issuing a token via toky terminal
The toky terminal operator can also issue a toky
number.
The process would be as follows
The operator can press the ‘New’ button which will
issue a toky number. The operator can issue a toky
number and can hand over the verification code of that
toky number physically if required, or the operator can
also issue a toky number by providing mobile number of
the patient. In this case, the verification code will be
sent to the mobile number along with his toky number
via SMS.
When a toky number is announced
When the ‘Up’ key is pressed from the mobile toky
terminal or the first token is announced from the mobile
terminal.
1. The tokyDisplay will show ‘1’ which you can see on
both the toky user dashboard page and the online
toky board display.
2. The name of the ‘Next in-line patient’s name will
change to display the name of the person holding
toky number ‘2’.

When a toky number is announced
An SMS will be sent automatically to the mobile number
of the person holding toky number ‘4’ informing him
that his turn will soon arrive. The toky solution will
automatically send an SMS to the mobile number
holding the third toky number from the current toky
number running. Here since the current toky number
running is ‘1’ and an SMS will be sent to the mobile
number holding the toky number ‘4’.
This is an OPTIONAL service, and will be a
chargeable
(SMS packs can be purchased additionally)
Toky dashboard
The toky dashboard, which is available once you login
to your toky micro-site can show you a host of
information. These include
• next in-line patients name
• number of tokens issued so far for the day
• current running token number
• list of scheduled appointments
• average service time per patient and much more
No shows and blacklisting
If a toky holder does not show up or is a ‘No show’ the
toky operator can mark him as a ‘No show’ from his
mobile toky terminal itself. No shows can be either
‘Dismissed’ or ‘Blacklisted’ depending on your preferred
option set in the ‘Blacklisting’ option of your toky micro-
site.
The holder of the mobile number who was a ‘No show’
can be sent an SMS informing him of the same.
This is an OPTIONAL service, and will be a
chargeable

Setting up maximum number
of tokens issued for a dayAn upper limit can be set on the number of tokens
issued for the day.
The process would be as follows
The ‘Modify settings’ option available after logging into
your toky micro-site lets you modify your board
settings. The maximum number of tokens can be
marked against each active day of the week.
Token window
Also, you can specify the start and end for the time
window during which patients can take a token number.
Toky statistics
Upon logging in to your toky micro-site, you can
also get statistical tools for your reference.
Graphical analysis tools
For better planning of resources, toky can provide
crowd flow statistics and graphs which may be
referred to get a clearer understanding. All this
information will also be available in graphical
format as well.
