Ex: Sell consultation services online where people can make a transaction
Lead generation
What’s good...what’s not so hot.
Service-specific benefit statements.
Feature-oriented content.
Specific landing pages for your main target audiences.
“General” services pages that aren’t targeted.
Write the right amount of content that clearly explains your offer.
Writing skimpy copy because you think people should “just call you.”
Include testimonials (especially vertical-specific testimonials!).
Testimonials that only list initials.
Highlighting overarching company benefits.
Hiding your benefits in the copy (or not mentioning then at all.)
Fantastic, benefit-oriented Titles. Titles with broad keywords. (Ex. “marketing services.”)
Naming services with keyphrase research in mind.
Cool-sounding service names that aren’t intuitively “searchable.”
