Updating Your Profile

All SPH students will need to enter their name, phone number, anticipated graduation year, student ID, and degree program.

Students completing internships will need to fill out the remaining fields with information about their internship site, supervisors/preceptors, and start and end dates. MPH and MHA students will also need to upload the most up-to-date signed confirmation form.

Step Four: Start Entering your Hours!

Logging hours is easy! You can either log them into the website after you’ve signed in, or you may download the Track It Forward app on your phone/tablet device. Just enter the total number of hours, using decimals in .25 intervals to reflect portions of an hour (rounded to 15 minutes: e.g., one hour and 45 minutes would be entered as 1.75). Choose the activity: if you choose volunteer or community engagement hours you will be prompted to enter the name of the organization. If you choose service learning, you will be prompted to select the course requiring service learning.

Did you receive an approved waiver of 300 hours because of your professional work experience, dual degree enrollment, or prior completion of an approved graduate degree? If so, prior to entering internship hours, select the date you submitted your signed and approved waiver document and enter 300 (or other approved amount) to log those hours.

Step Five: Monitor your progress! There are two ways to keep track of your hours. While you’re in the main page where you log your time, you can click on “Charts” to see a graphic display of your accumulating time. You may also click on “account” or return to the SPH entry page and select “export all hours”. This will allow you to export a spreadsheet of your time..
