Richard Garland joined Jardine Foods in April 2010 as Vice President - Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for corporate finance strategy and implementation, internal/external reporting, board relations, accounting, cash management and treasury functions, purchasing, production planning, human resources, IT, and contract negotiations.

Prior to joining Jardine Foods, Richard served as a Senior Financial Analyst and later a Principal for US Growth Funds, a Private Equity firm focused on investing in consumer packaged goods companies in the lower-middle market. There he was responsible for identifying and analyzing potential investment opportunities, monitoring the financial performance of portfolio companies, and assisting portfolio company executives with major strategic projects.

Richard received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington and Lee University. He is an avid sports fan, a native Texan, and still resides in Fort Worth, TX with his wife Avery and their son.
