The navigation indicators are helpful in the event of multiple pages in the search results. They are located at the top and bottom of the results page. Use the scroll bar on the right side screen to view results lower down the page.

Results are listed in alphabetical order withthe preferred term(descriptor) written in blue.

• Below the preferred term a user will find:• The parent string for the concept.• A listing of broader contexts in ascending order

(an ellipsis indicates an omission of levels within the display).• The “unique numeric identifier (Subject ID) in the square

brackets for the concept in the AAT database.”

All terms matching the search query will be in the results list. However, if the term is not a preferred term it will be in bold print under the parent string.
