AAT Level 2 in Detail

• This level will help you develop your skills in double entry bookkeeping and give you an understanding of management and administrative processes.

• You'll learn how to use manual and computerised accounting systems and to work with the purchase ledger, sales ledger and general ledger.

• You would also get better understanding about budgeting and costing.

• You will be awarded with AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting Certificate from Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) once you have passed all the exams.

• Once you finish Level 2 you may progress towards Level 3, or alternatively you can study both Level 2 & Level 3 together through the fast track option.

• This is AAT Level 4 qualification which is the highest level of AAT Accounting qualification.

How Exams Work

There are mainly three type of assessments

Computer Marked Computer Based Project

Dissertation

• An exam completed on a computer and supervised under test conditions at an AAT approved assessment venue

• You receive an instant exam result for Level 2 (4 Subjects) and Level 3(4 Subjects) exams as the assessments are marked automatically.

• You will wait up to 6 weeks for a Level 4 exam result

• A scenario based assessment completed on a computer and supervised under test conditions

• You receive your result within AAT published standard 6 weeks timeframe

• There are one subject in Level 2 and two subjects in Level 3 which are assessed under this method

• A scenario based Dissertation where you will be working at your own time to complete it successfully with specialised guidance and feedback from our expert assessors

• You will be given 6 months to complete with specific limited words.

• One dissertation for Level 4 course
