In this tutorial, I choose Mozilla Firefox


This is your homepage


In the address bar, type in www.skype.com


http://www.skype.com/

You’ll then see the Skype website


Click on Join


OR Join us


This is the registration page


You can register by using


your Microsoft account,


your Facebook account


or by filling up the details needed below


In this tutorial, I’ve chosen to fill

up the form.


Start with the basic information


type your first name,


your last name


and your email address


Then re-enter your email address here


Fill up the profile information as well


Input your Birthday


Select your gender in the drop down box


Select your country


Indicate the city you’re in


Then choose your language


Specify your mobile number


Choose your intention for using Skype


then specify your

preferred Skype name


Indicate your password


Then re-enter your password


Type the code in the box below


Take note that these codes differ for everyone


Click this button when done


You will be shown this new screen


Click the download button for Windows


or if you’re not using Windows click this


A new dialog box will appear


Just click Save File


Then click this arrow in your toolbar


to view the download progress in library


This is your download library


Once downloading is complete


install it by clicking SkypeSetup


After downloading successfully


You will see this new window


Select your language in the dropdown list


Uncheck this box if you don’t want


Skype to start up automatically


Then click this button


You will be shown this new screen


Uncheck if you don’t want this feature


Then click Continue


You’ll see this new window


Uncheck this box


if you don’t want Bing as your search engine


And uncheck this one


if you don’t want MSN as your homepage


Then click continue


Wait for the installation


Once done, you’ll see this window


Type your Skype name


and your password


Then click sign in


You will see this new window


This is your Skype home


Here you can find your contact list


And your recent contacts


While in this tab


you’ll find the dial pad


It allows you to call on mobiles and landlines


as long as you have Skype credit


You can still call any Skype ID for free


The 3rd tab allows you to create group chat


Just drag your contacts from here


to here


You could also send files using “+”


The last button is for searching contacts


You can search by name,


email address


or save a phone number


Congratulations!


You can now start using Skype!
