How to bleed BMW E46 brake ABS unit with INPA software

BMW engineering software (INPA or BMW ICOM ISTA ISTA-D) have lots of coding

possibilities. Here is the instruction on bleed E90 ABS unit brake with INPA software.

Run INPA software. (With INPA cable plugged or within ICOM ISTA ISTA-D software)

Select vehicle model: E46

Select control module: Chassis

Select DSC MK60

Select Activate (F6)

Call someone to put pressure on brake pedal

Select either F2 or F3 (ABS FL RL or FR RR) depending on which one you are bleeding

Open the bleed value when hear the ABS buzz

It will then make a second noise where is activates the valves at which point the pedal will start

going down in pulses and the fluid will start coming out the caliper.

Repeat the previous procedure.
