Step one

Download Folder Lock, by conducting a search on Google for ‘Folder Lock’. Folder Lock is a File Locking and File Encryption Software, designed to protect your most private files from the likes of identity thieves and hackers.

Step Two

After you have downloaded Folder Lock, install iton your system by double clicking on the

downloaded file.

Step Three

Once the installation process is completed, you’ll be promoted to setup a master password. Go ahead and set a password for yourself. (Setup a password that is easy for you to remember, but difficult for other to guess). Once your password is set up, next time you start Folder Lock application you will be promoted to enter a master password.

Step Four

After entering your password, you’ll need to create an encrypted locker, and then add files which need backing up into the encrypted locker

Step Five

After creating lockers, click on the ‘Secured Backup’ tab. If you are already a member then enter your user name and password, otherwise you’ll need to sign-up for membership.

Once you’re logged in, select the locker which contains the files youneed to back-up by clicking on the ‘Add Locker’ button located on the topleft hand corner, once selected, press the ‘Start Backup’ button, located onthe bottom right hand corner. Now your files backup process has begun.
