If you cannot move-in during your assigned time, please arrive on Sunday before 1:00p.m. Each hall has a specific move-in route. Follow the directions carefully on the map! Signs will be posted near and on-campus for assistance. When you enter the lot (indicated in yellow on the map), you will be directed by staff to a parking space. The driver must stay with the vehicle at all times, or it will be towed. Arrangements will be made for single-person vehicles. You will be directed to unload the student’s belongings into a designated parking spot. Limited pallets are provided to keep belongings off the pavement. The student will be directed to check-in to their residence hall and get their room key. The driver will be asked to move the vehicle to one of the parking lots indicated in orange on the map. The student, their family and guests, and student volunteers will be directed to help carry belongings into the residence hall. What to bring: This move-in map. Tarp to put your belongings on or to cover them in the event of rain. Carts or dollies for easier moving of belongings. Comfortable shoes and clothing for moving and walking. Chances are it will be hot! Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. We guarantee our move-in team will have all three of these as well! Bed Loft Pick-up: Bed loft pick-up will be located in Lot 10 (indicated with a on the map) Follow the directions (indicated in yellow) on this map to arrive at Lot 10 (behind Blumberg Hall). It is suggested to have a truck or some other means to haul the bed loft, rather than carrying it to your assigned residence hall. After picking up your loft, you can return to your residence hall parking lot to unload. • From the north on U.S. 41: Turn left onto Ohio Street. Then turn left onto Fifth Street and proceed to Lot 24, which is on your left.

To Park: • Exit Lot 24 by turning left onto Fifth Street. Turn right onto

Tippecanoe Street and proceed to any orange lot. After you park, a shuttle will pick you up and drop you off near the residence hall.

The unloading zones, indicated in yellow, will be restricted to 15-minute time slots. You will then be directed to park in one of the orange lots on the map. Shuttle buses are provided back and forth to the residence halls. Assigned move-in dates and times are posted at www.indstate.edu/welcome. It is important to move in during your assigned time and follow the routes listed below.

There are parking lots close to campus but are not campus property. If you park in one of these lots you risk being towed. All parking lots will return to normal operations on Monday, August 22.

If you are not in an appropriate lot designated by your parking permit, you will be ticketed.
