How Can You Join US? • WALK in nature, your neighborhood, on a track, or in your home – just walk with us!

• WALK any day or every day, July 27 thru – August 1 (prizes for everyday walkers with sponsor forms,

investors, and pledges received for each day)

• Your walk is an INVESTMENT in CEF Greater Baltimore‘s ministry to children.

Pledges support Good News Clubs, teaching materials, devotional books, tracts,

mission stories, and chapter operations.

CONTACT your investors and complete Pledge Cards for those (businesses,

family, friends, and associates) who will support your desire to help children

learn about Jesus. PRAY to God to bless your walk.

I pledge to walk in the Greater Baltimore “Walking for Jesus” Virtual Walkathon on July 27th thru August 1st. I am

walking because I support children learning to love Christ. Inspired by God’s Word, children develop high moral values,

learn to be obedient to those in authority and enhance other positive behaviors while becoming good citizens.

My goal is $150! Your donation can help me to meet and exceed my goal! CEF is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.

CEF USA is supporting GBC with an Urban Initiative to call on more churches to sponsor

schools in Baltimore City. Promotions and funding will be disbursed to enhance the

outreach. We met with the Assistant to the CEF President and a Director of Ministry to

discuss the implementation of the program on June 8 and 9. It was attended by GBC Board

members at the Rolling Road Headquarters. As a result of my husband and I being

quarantined, we set up Zoom so additional GBC volunteers, and I could view the

presentation. We look forward to this initiative being able to expand our territories in

Baltimore City.

Our literature for the Good News Club kits have arrived! At this time, I am

calling on all Greater Baltimore and the GBC community to once again help

prepare for our ‘new normal’ to outreach GNC children and GBC

operations expenses. The GBC-COVID-19 Fund will help to provide

increased access to technology, purchase online learning tools and support

to maximize our presentations to the children, and cover our Greater

Baltimore operation expenses.

Ask God and tell His people is what we rely on as the means to coming together to

be able to reach our children. I am trusting in God and in you to join this

collective and meaningful effort.

about the outreach of our team

members to our Good News Club (GNC)

children during the COVID-19 pandemic!

“No panic in pandemic” for Greater

Baltimore! “And let us not grow weary

of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not

give up.” (Galatians 6:9)

Our Greater Baltimore Chapter (GBC) of donors, volunteers,

and staff have unified with grit and God- inspired

perseverance. We have given food to some Good News Club

families. GNC team members also nourished little ones and

families with the gospel and with prayer.

We continue to make the transitions

necessary to prepare for the Fall training

and Good News Clubs using Zoom! Our

training team and I are working in

collaboration with the State Executive

Director and other chapter Directors to present a quality and

unified effort for all Good News Club teams. Our budget has

been affected by the virus and we are trusting God will

provide the required financial support needed to move

forward.
