Fire Fighter 1 in Newington kicked off on Tuesday, July 28th with 25 students. The Fall Fire Fighter 1 class scheduled to begin in August at CFA is full with 20 students and 12 currently on a waiting list and the Fire Fighter 2 class has 15 students so far. It is with regret that we announce that passing of Retired North Canton Firefighter, Samuel S. Humphrey who passed away on July 10th. Also, the passing of Assistant Chief, Paul Gworek of the Manchester 8th District Fire Department on July 18th. We also regret the passing of Retired Chief , William Mills of the Thompsonville Fire Department on July 21st.
