2016 ADDITIONS & ALTERATIONS: PHASE 2 Executive Summary

March 2019

Progress and Schedule Overview We are pleased to submit this month’s report for the Capital Project. This report captures work completed in the month of March 2019. High School Construction in the High School continued with the completion of the footings and foundation walls in the existing portion of the Art Room. The installation of the structural steel for the Main Entrance Addition is nearly complete. Corner guards have been roughed in, tile has been installed and painting has begun in the new Nurses Office. Site work for the High School Tennis Courts has continued with sub grade excavation. Transportation Building Masonry walls are being installed along with the steel required for the bay door openings. Roof drains are being installed, piped and under slab plumbing has begun. Site work for the retention pond outside the bus parking lot is underway. Manor Intermediate Construction in rooms 215, 217, 222 and 224 has been completed and the rooms have been turned back over to the District. Construction in rooms 404, 406, 408 and 410 is well underway with the installation of unit ventilators, casework, paint and toilet room flooring, these rooms are scheduled to be completed and turned back over to the District in time to begin the next set of four rooms starting April Break. Middle School Site work for the Turf Field continued throughout the month of March with the installation of stone and fill.

Budget Summary The budget summary details the project cost to date. The approved referendum authorization for the project is $29,986,084. Included in the summary are the contract values ($22,848,873), allowance amounts ($20,000), State Contracts ($940,219), project contingency ($1,564,311), and incidental budget ($4,632,681). We are currently tracking potential changes totaling ($143,574) and projecting a remaining contingency balance of ($1,305,162).

2016 ADDITIONS & ALTERATIONS: PHASE 2 Contractor Status

Senior High School General Trades Contractor (Contract 201) – D’Agostino General Contractors Scope of Work:

• In the New Nurses Office, tile has been installed, corner guards have been roughed in, drywall finish work has been completed and painting has begun.

• The interior foundation work in the existing Art Room has been completed and nearly all the fill stored in the Courtyard has been removed.

• Installation of structural steel for the New Main Office is nearly complete.

Plumbing Contractor (Contract 202) – Ferrauilo Plumbing Scope of Work:

• Under slab plumbing has been on going in the existing Art Room. • Installation of sanitary lines throughout the crawl space is underway. • Jetting and cleaning of storm structures located in the crawl space is underway.

Site Contractor (Contract 205) – DiFiore Construction Scope of Work:

• Continued with the excavation for the Tennis Courts and with the preparation of the sub grade.

Transportation Building General Trades Contractor (Contract 201) – D’Agostino General Contractors Scope of Work:

• Masonry work for the outside block walls is nearly complete.

• Roof drains are being installed, piped and under slab plumbing has begun.

Electrical Contractor (Contract 204) – Blackmon-Farrell Electric Scope of Work:

• Working alongside masons and installing conduit as the walls that are being built.

Site Contractor (Contract 205) – DiFiore Construction Scope of Work:

• Performing site work for the retention pond being installed outside of the bus parking lot. Manor Intermediate General Trades Contractor (Contract 201) – D’Agostino General Contractors Scope of Work:

• Completed and turned over rooms 215, 217, 222 and 224. • Began construction in rooms 404, 406, 408 and 410. • Corridor wall tile is being installed throughout Manor.

Plumbing Contractor (Contract 202) – Ferrauilo Plumbing Scope of Work:

• Removed necessary toilets and disconnected sinks in rooms 404, 406, 408 and 410. Mechanical Contractor (Contract 203) – Lawman Heating and Cooling Scope of Work:

• Removed and installed new UV’s in rooms 404, 406, 408 and 410.

Electrical Contractor (Contract 204) – Blackmon-Farrell Electric Scope of Work:

• Electrical demo was completed and new conduit and wire molding was roughed in, in rooms 404, 406, 408 and 410.

Middle School Site Contractor (Contract 205) – DiFiore Construction Scope of Work:

• Site work has been on going with the installation of stone and fill.

• Masonry block work will be completed and brick work will begin. • Under slab MEP work will begin in April. • Site work outside of the parking lot will be on going throughout the month of April. • Installation of the roof will begin in April, weather permitting.

Manor Intermediate

• Rooms 404, 406, 408 and 410 will be completed and turned over to the District. • The next set of rooms will be 415, 417, 419 and 420.

High School

• Structural steel installation will be completed for the Main Entrance. • Steel for the Flexible Learning Lab is being fabricated and is scheduled to be installed over

April Break. • Masonry work for the Main Entrance will begin. • Plumbing, electrical, mechanical and general trades work will continue in the New Nurses

Office throughout the month of April. • Site work for the Tennis Court will be on going throughout the month of April.

Middle School

• Site work along with sub grade preparation for the Turf Field will continue throughout the month of April.
