The Cleaning Authority:A Better Approach to Housecleaning

The Cleaning Authority is a professionalhousecleaning franchise, open locally since2004, located in South County. While theyperform plenty of one-time cleans, 99percent of their business comes from 600+regular clients. They offer weekly,bi-weekly, tri-weekly and monthly service.

The owner, Mike Weintz, cited fourfactors that make The Cleaning Authority

so appealing to new and current clients: a)quality, b) reliability, c) value, and d) anenvironmentally responsible approach tohousecleaning.

The Cleaning Authoritys Detail-CleanRotation System goes well beyond thenormal level of detail performed by theaverage housecleaner. By paying top of themarket wages and providing medical anddental benefits, employeeturnover is kept low andservice quality is kept high.In 2009, the office was 1 of3 nominated for Franchiseof the Year!

If youve employed ahousecleaner in the past, youknow that reliability is not atypical strong point in the

industry. The Cleaning Authority promisesto always be at your home on the right day, with the right supplies and the right workethic. Employees are all bonded, insuredand rigorously trained.

The housecleaning business is verycompetitive. Free estimates are offered viaphone or e-mail. After an estimate has beengiven, the owner, Mike, personally visits

every prospective clients home. This isdone so that the best possible price isalways given.

In 2008, The Cleaning Authority made acommitment to environmentally responsiblehousecleaning by converting to the use ofGreen Seal Certified products, HEPAvacuums, and microfiber dusting cloths.Although some are skeptical of the cleaning

power of green products, the owner said dont worry, the products work great.

Lindwedels Sparkling Reputation BuildsGreat Relationships With Jewelry BuyersYou can tell a lot about a person by their

    favorite piece of jewelry.

Some people love a modern item that shows a

daring sense of fashion. Others are attached to an

heirloom piece that reminds them of a cherished

time they look at the one-of-a-kind piece their

spouse presented to them on a special occasion.

Regardless of personal tastes, LindwedelJewelers in Webster Groves has the selection and

quality to match buyers with the perfect piece.

ence of purchasing jewelry, said Phil

    Lindwedel.

Phil and his wife, Antoinette, opened the

store in 2008 after he spent several years crafting

award-winning pieces as a bench jeweler. That

expertise combines with the staffs attentive ser-

vice to form relationships that turn first-timebuyers into repeat customers.

    Lindwedels cases sparkle with top-quality

stones, gleaming gold and silver, and high-fash-

ion items. But if a customer is looking for some-

thing truly unique, the Lindwedel team is always

excited to design something just for them.Jewelry buyers today are very savvy and

know exactly what they want. We are committed

to helping them select something that will last a

    lifetime, said Phil.

The Lindwedels service extends beyond their

own inventory to repairing, polishing, reworking,

or appraising pieces that a customer may already

have. They also offer top dollar for gold jewelry

that a customer has decided to part with.

Many of our customers are surprised by the

value of the items they have sitting in their jew-
