• « Previous DVT was the only factor associatedwith postprocedural DVT »

CHUGRENOBLEMTEV après traitement: les consensus
Relative contraindications(individual benefit–riskassessment mandatory):2,38,48
• High thromboembolic risk(e.g. history of thrombo-embolic events, knownsevere thrombophilia, hyper-coagulable state and active cancer)
• Acute superficial venousthrombosis.
Relative contraindications(Careful risk/benefits evaluated, and anymodifications clinically indicated are considered, and discussed and agreedwith the patient) Elevated thromboembolic risk
including documentedthrombophilia and history of previous DVT. ETA may besafe even in patients withprevious VTE. In such cases thromboprophylaxis should beconsidered,

We recommend against routine prescription of prophylactic anticoagulation (GRADE 1C) (thermal ablation).

Risque MTEV: comment le contrôler
Recommendation 9: In patients with a high risk of VTE such as those with a history of spon-taneous DVT or known severethrombophilia we recommend:
. Use of pharmacologicalthromboprophylaxis in line withcurrentguidelines/recommendations(GRADE 1C)
Where there are risk factors for vein thrombosis such as age>60, obesity, immobility, oral contraceptive or HRT use, cancer, history of superficialor deep venous thrombosis, or a known severethrombophilia, considercovering the procedure withprophylactic doses of lowmolecular weight heparindaily according to international guidelines, starting at the time of the surgery.
