Precautions in Kitchen Do not wear loose clothes while cooking. Tuck the loose end of

your saree, it is better wear a kitchen apron. Use tongs for lifting utensils from the gas stove, use of dish

towels, old rags is dangerous, they may catch fire. Avoid placing shelves just above the stove, your clothes may

catch fire while you are trying to reach some item. Don’t allow your children to play in the kitchen Store matches and lighter out of reach of children Do not throw used match stick in the dust bin, keep a ash tray

filled with water which can disposed at the end of the day. Items kept in shelves at a height must be kept properly they may

fall on your head. Always boil milk in your presence, it may overboil and put out

your stove, which may result in gas or kerosene oil leakage and then a fire.

KEROSENE STOVE  - Never overpump your stove, it may burst. A wick stove is always better. - Never fill kerosene when your stove is on - Check kerosene tank for leakage and have leakage attended immediately - Fill the kerosene only by using a funnel - Store kerosen away from stove - If your stove is put while it is burning, release pressure do not try to search for a matches and try to light it, by the time the kerosene vapours may spread all over. Always restart again.
