Homage to an ice cube

1st prize: 5th Trieste Contempo-ranea Design Competition 2002 (Italy). Exhibitions in Murano, Trieste, Biennale 2003, Italy and Budapest, Hungary.

An interpretation of the melting process of ice: stable and moving elements, square and round shapes, frosted and clear surfaces.

Materials Award

The glass duo is an eye-catcher for residential and dining interior.It can also be used in additionwith fl owers, or food.

The ice cube is placed on the plate… …the bowl on top of it.

When the ice starts to melt the bowl starts to move and glides gently into another position.

The module functions on either side according to the food that is served. Spread out on the table: A mise en scène of a Lucullan feast for a new ‚generation‘ of tableware.
