MISSION STATEMENT
We, the Parish Community of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, are a family of many cultural backgrounds. Our mission is to enrich the spiritual life of all parishioners, through the active participation in prayer and the sacraments, promoting opportunities to grow in faith and hope, and providing a place to come together in the love of God and neighbor. We are committed to the needs of our parishioners and to reach beyond to serve the needs of others. We are called by the Spirit to witness the forgiving, healing and saving presence of Jesus as one Church and one people. (Adopted January 12, 2006)
Our Parish Community wishes to extend our sympathy to the family and friends of all the faithful departed especially Gary Kirk. May they rest in peace.

J uly is the month dedicated to the
Precious Blood of Our Lord; the Feast of the Precious Blood is the first Sunday of the month.
Prayer of the Holy Blood of Jesus O Blood of Christ, the precious blood, the Blood of the Son of God, our Savior, save us, protect us,
and deliver us from all the powers of darkness. Wash us and sanctify us. Cover us and protect us. Through the blood of Christ, give us the love of
God, the salvation brought by our Lord and Savior, and the enlightenment of the most Holy
Spirit. O Blood of Christ protect us in the name of the Holy Trinity. Amen!
Taken from the concluding prayer of the Rosary of the Holy Blood of Jesus.

Attention please! All parishioners are asked to do their part in protecting our children from the horrif-ic sin of “Human Trafficking.” We urgently need the help of faith- minded citizens to help staff our “STOP HUMAN TRAFFICKING BOOTH,” set up each Friday on the boardwalk at the Huntington Beach Pier. We will be handing out literature about this sinful violation of our children that needs to be obliterated. This is a great way for young adults to earn volunteer hours. For more info, contact May Silva at (714) 848-1901 All are welcome!!
