Where to DineTHE WILDFLOWER | 7:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. Offering a variety of hearty and delicious breakfast options, along evening family dining, The Wildflower’s culinary team presents a tantalizing showcase of locally-inspired dishes. On December 25 and January 1 breakfast will be from 7:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Breakfasts / brunches are first come, first served.

MALLARD LOUNGE | 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 A.M. Open for lunch, après-ski fare and dinner daily, the Mallard Lounge presents an award-winning selection of scotches, martinis and beer from around the world. Enjoy live music nightly from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and from 9:00 p.m. to midnight. On December 31, The Mallard is open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., with live entertainment from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 pm.

THE GRILL ROOM | 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. The Grill Room elevated the traditional steakhouse experience with a masterful use of flame, signature seasonings and indulgent side dishes. Featuring succulent Canadian beef, game and local seafood, The Grill Room menu showcases organic produce grown by neighbouring farmers.

PORTOBELLO | 6:30 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. Whether it’s a hearty breakfast bowl, one of Whistler’s best sandwiches, or even a sweet, late afternoon treat, Portobello is a magnet for locals and guests alike. For dinner enjoy a decadent smokehouse-style dinner menu including rotisserie chicken, smoked beef brisket, BBQ pork shoulder and more. Eat in, take out, or join us for just drinks at Portobello's Watering Hole.

THE CHALET | 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. Offering a storybook setting for holiday cheer with an authentic, alpine-themed menu, The Chalet features savoury fondues, rösti, schnitzel and other delicious Bavarian dishes, as well as our decadent chocolate fondue.

MOUNTAIN SOCIAL LOUNGE | 12:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. The Mountain Social Lounge is open for après ski snacks and dinner, complete with a festive atmosphere. On December 31, Mountain Social is open noon to midnight.

MOUNTAIN SOCIAL RESTAURANT | 5:00 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. Try out our new seasonal restaurant serving a delicious family-style menu, with live entertainment from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Adults $69, children $35 for ages 6-12 years. Please note: Portobello, Mallard Lounge and Mountain Social Lounge are on a first come, first-served basis (no reservations).

Trees of Hope Evoking the true spirit of the holiday season, eleven amazing Canadian artists shared their time and talent to create beautiful “Trees of Hope” paintings. The artwork will be on display during the holiday season in the hotel and will be available for purchase through silent auction until January 31, 2022, with proceeds going to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. www.32auctions.com/TreesofHope2021

Reservations

Our first priority is the safety and wellbeing of our guests, employees and visitors. In accordance with current BC Provincial Health Officer guidelines, face masks must be worn in all public spaces. Proof of vaccination will be required for everyone 12 + years to access all dining facilities, pool and health club areas and festive events.

WHISTLER EXPERIENCE GUIDE EXCURSIONS To enhance your Whistler visit, we are pleased to offer the expertise of our Whistler Experience Guide. Featuring up to three activities daily including mountain ski tours, snowshoeing and more, each day’s agenda will be available up to 10 days in advance. Reservations will be required and can be made at the Concierge Desk or by dialing '0' for Royal Service from your room.

YOGA CLASSES Explore a mix of yoga styles by joining our ‘Open and Invigorate’ class in the morning (7:00 - 8:00 a.m.), or our ‘Restore and Renew’ class in the afternoon (4:30 - 5:30 p.m.). Available daily in the Yoga Studio - Suite 353.

LITTLE ELVES’ PLAYROOM* | AGES 6 AND UNDER Little Elves’ Playroom is full of fun and games tailored to guests aged 6 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Child supervision is not provided. This room will not be open on December 25 or 31, 2021. Located in Macdonald Ballroom EF.

FAMILY BASE CAMP* Base Camp is a family activity lounge featuring a gaming centre, billiards, foosball, board games and a selection of reading books. Young children must be accompanied by an adult. Located in the Empress Ballroom.

HOT CHOCOLATE BY THE FIRE Gather around the fire for hot chocolate, holiday treats and live entertainment. Available December 17 – January 2 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on the Mallard patio.

DECORATE YOUR OWN IN-ROOM CHRISTMAS TREE Fresh, live pine trees (five to six feet tall) come complete with a holiday decorating package of lights and ornaments. Advanced reservations recommended. Please email [email protected] or call +1 604 938 8000 for assistance. $150 per tree plus PST and GST.

INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL ADVENTURE IN THE OUTDOORS: REINDEER RALLY This 'Reindeer Rally' game by Eventology is in the style of 'Pokemon Go'. Find Rudolph the Reindeer in the Frontenac Foyer to scan a QR code and download the free App on your smart phone or tablet. Rudolph has lost his reindeer friends and needs your help to find them as quickly as possible! Beat the clock and earn extra points by completing a series of festive and family friendly challenges as you go. Fun for all ages! DREAM CATCHERS Weave together a vibrant dream catcher with feathers, beads, sinew and a suede wrapped hoop. Dream catchers are a craft passed on from neighboring First Nations trading partners who lived in the prairies and East Coast of Canada. They are suspended in windows to allow good dreams to pass through while entangling bad dreams in the web which then perish at the first light of dawn. Children under 10 will require adult assistance.
