Hipster Slouch Hat by: Kristen Ashbaugh-Helmreich of Marinade Designs On a recent trip to San Francisco, I noticed a lot of Hipsters on their Fixie Bikes riding around the city wearing hats similar to this one. A little slouchy, but mostly less poofy and a bit longer than the average slouchy hat. I came home thinking there was something pretty practical about this style too, so I knitted one up! I decided to share this (very easy) pattern with you, so we all could be as cool as those Fixie riding hipsters. Enjoy! Materials: -150-200 yards of Worsted or Aran Weight Yarn (I recommend Berroco Jasper or Malabrigo Merino Worsted .) -US Size 8 Circular Needles -US Size 9 Circular Needles -US Size 9 Double Pointed Needles -1 Stitch Marker
