Large Volume ProcessorsThe Large Volume Processor programconsists of horizontally arranged, hea-ted reactors with either a single ortwin (co- or counterrotating) shaft wichprovide intensive mixing and knea-ding.

The highly versatile Large Volume Pro-cessors are characterised by large pro-cess volumes and self-cleaning. Theyallow for the efficient treatment of dif-ficult and/or phase changing products.

Large Volume Processors allow for theeconomic realisation of long resi-dence times and the combination ofvarious process steps in the same unit.

Thin Film ProcessorsThe FILMTRUDER® and VISCON® ThinFilm Processors produce a mechani-cally agitated thin product film whichis distributed over the inner surface ofa vertical heated cylinder by a rotor.The rotor continuously agitates thefilm, creating surface renewal and re-sulting in high heat flux and masstransfer. The rotor blades are desig-ned to propel the product down thecylinder walls. Volatile componentsare rapidly evaporated. The largefree vapour space in relation to the
