product and PowerPoint done at the professional level presented to a panel of graders

What is Genital Herpes?
• A sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by 2 different strains of virus (Simplex type 1 and 2)
• Sores begin to develop- the fluid of the sores also contain the virus and may be spread that way

How is it Transmitted through Pregnancy?
• Vaginal secretions at birth• Oral secretions (kissing)• Rare: in utero • After research gone over– display “model” of transmission process
