What are people saying about Magnum Board®

I have chosen Magnum Board for our wall system

for a number of reasons:

#1 Magnum Board has a better finish than other

products tested to be incorporated in our wall

system.

#2 While testing a competitor’s MgO product, for

heat transfer I found it gave off a noxious gas so

strong, I had to open the overhead door to my test

lab to allow the fumes to escape. I then tested

Magnum Board and found it didn’t off gas like the

other product.

#3 While doing the high temp test the other

I have an awesome true story about Magnum Board®

The first part of this year, one of my business partners brought back ten-(10) sheets of Magnum Board left over

from a job in California. The product was set outside. The product has undergone unbelievable weather

conditions including rain, freezing, 120º F temperatures in the sun, monsoons, dust storms and all other forms

of punishment. Today, Tony Serna, a well known builder in Arizona started to move the board to an installation

point and also cut some to show potential customers. It was unbelievable the excellent shape this board was

in. The weather nor insects had any effect on Magnum Board®.

I can truly tell you that the South West region team will have no problem showing and selling your products to

the builders and consumers from the smallest to the largest.

The Magnum Board® job is done and things went well even though the contractor had never used it before. He is now in

the process of installation Magnum Board® in other projects. The feed back is that while it was somewhat difficult to cut

they were able to expeditiously complete the job. Three rooms are garage and work rooms on ground level. One room is

a foyer.

The joints were trimmed with Azek for future removal if necessary as well as other trim and baseboard, except for the

foyer which is trimmed in wood. The whole job was painted and it looks great.

INDUSTRY PROBLEMS USING TRADITIONAL BUILDING MATERIALS

Wood based products: Swells, rots, are susceptible to insects such as termites

and carpenter ants; flammable; can feed mold and mildew; and, when chemically

treated may be toxic.

Portland cement based products: Respirable dust can be carcinogenic; difficult to

work with (heavy) and has excessive expansion and contraction challenges.

Gypsum based products: Susceptible to water and fire damage; known to feed
