Cleaning the window

First I washed the dishes than swept the floor and moped the floor. “Oh! I need to

wipe the window!” I thought to myself. I took a ladder and put it near to the window. I

took a cloth and a pail of water and started cleaning the window.

I climbed up the ladder and started cleaning after a while, she wanted to go down

one step. AS She came down one step she accidentally poured the water on the

ladder did not notice it. The ladder was slippery. As she tried to stepped down, she

slipped and fell onto the floor.

Tom knew something was going wrong and he ran as fast as his legs could carry

him to my house. He saw me laying on the floor in immense pain. Tom quickly

took out his hand phone and called the ambulance. Tom waited for a few minute

for the ambulance to arrive and bring to the hospital.

A few days later, Tom went to visit me at the hospital. I was recovering well and I

thanked him profusely. Tom reminded me to check my ladder before I used it next

time. I learnt my lesson not to be careless in the future.

kindness can make someone’s day a little better.

It was a Sunday morning. I woke up as happy as a lark as I had completed my

homework at night, so I had the entire day to do whatever I wanted to do.

I dashed to my neighbour, Ash’s home, to play with his new pet tortoise. However,

after Ash let me into his home, he told me that his tortoise Scratch, had gone

missing. Since I had the whole day to do anything, I decided to help Ash find his

tortoise.

We first searched in Ash house, so I asked where he last saw it. He walked around

the house trying to recall where he last saw him. But he could not remember, so to

that was no avail. When I remembered that my sister, Jane was taking care of

Scratch while Ash and his parents went out, so she might know where it went. When

I ask Jane about Scratch, she said that she had put it into the aquarium. Ash and I

looked closely into the aquarium but still could see Scratch. We decided to search

the void deck but still no luck. Before giving up the last spot we decided to search

was the pound. But it was no use too.

I was ready to headed home to my house when suddenly, I spotted something

moving on the road. When I looked closer, I realised it was Scratch! I was on cloud

nine when I saw it!

I quickly scooped him from the road and told Ash about it. When Ash heard about it,

he exclaimed:” where had you been, Scratch?” He was relieved that Scratch have

been found.

Two of us headed to Ash house to play with Scratch. On the way back, I thought of

how an act of kindness can make someone day a little better.

It was a crowded night, many people were walking on the street. Jacky

Not Following Instruction

I was a dreamy child with a penchant for trouble .My mind would constantly drift off

for whirlwind adventures .Despite countless attempts at disciplining me.

One day, I was in my cooking class learning how to bake cookies .Mrs tan my

cooking teacher was going to teach me and my friends Jane, Alison and Tom how to

bake cookies. When Mrs Tan was explaining on how to bake cookies, I was looking

around curiously on the things around me.

My friend and I decided some plans. Tom told me’’ Keep quiet and listen to Mrs Tan’’

I refused to listen to his advice and turned a deaf ear. After a while, Mrs Tan finished

explaining, I immediately put all the ingredient into the bowl. As I did not listen to

instructions, I put the wrong ingredient into the bowl and mixed them. The mixture

was brown. I thought the colour is fine, so I then put the bowl into the oven .Mrs Tan,

my cooking teacher, then turned on the oven.

Mrs Tan warned me not to touch the oven as it may be hot. But I refused to listen to

her advice. When she left the place, I wanted to press the oven ,but my other fingers

touched the oven glass. Within a second, I screamed so loud that the whole building

was about to collapsed. I rolled on the floor in pain. When I looked at my hands, to

my surprise there was so many blisters on my hands.

As fast as a lightening, Mrs Tan ran to me and saw what happened to me. She was

so dissapointed that her eyes blood shoot and glared at me. She was seething with

ire. An frown creased her forehead and her face contorted with rage. Mrs Tan called

for the ambulance. Within 5 minutes, wails of sirens reverberated through the air.

The paramedics put me on the stretcher brought me to a nearby hospital.

The doctor nursed my wound and admitted me in the hospital. The doctor pescribed

some medication to be applied on my fingers at home.

I regreted and felt guilty for not following Mrs Tan instruction.I knew that this could

have been prevented. Once bitten twice shy.

Way home, there was an elderly walking with walking sticks and another person is

Just then, Mrs Lee did not know there was a stone on the road so she tripped

My family went to Mrs Lin’s house, my father knocked on the door. Mrs Lin opened

the door and was surprised to see my family. She asked:” How can I help you?” My

father replied:” We are here to help you.” Mrs Lin was happy and let us in her house.

When we entered the house, the books suddenly dropped. Everyone gasped

Not Following Instructions

I am a person with a bad habit of not following instructions. I also had a penchant

for trouble and I did not expect that my brother, Chris who will be the one to help me

kick this habit.

It was my father’s birthday. I invited my friends to come over to my house to play

with me. While we were playing soccer, mother called me to keep an eye on my

brother but I refused to listen to her instruction. Mother was baking a batch of

cookies. She placed them into the oven and switched it on.

While we were still playing soccer, Chris was dragged to the kitchen as the lovely

aroma of the cookies drifted into other parts of the house. Chris wanted to check if

the cookies were done. He decided to open the oven to see. He touched the oven

and started crying out loud.

I was shocked and ran to see what had happened to him. We found out that Chris

had touched the extremely hot oven. Mother came rushing towards the kitchen and

saw Chris crying on the floor, she got extremely angry. She was contorted with rage.

I felt very guilty. Chris watched me get scolded and cried at the same time. I was

very embarrassed as I was getting scolded in front of my friends. Mother called dad

and told him that she was cancelling his birthday celebration. She then called the

ambulance to send Chris to the hospital.

Chris was rushed to the hospital. I felt sad and regretted not paying attention to

mother’s instruction. I felt very ashamed. I learnt my lesson to listen to instructions at

我就立刻走上前对老奶奶说。我很生气因为我发现没有人愿意让位给那位老奶奶,进地铁: “
