Daily Agenda • Please remember to read for at least 20 minutes per day with your child. Talk about the characters, setting, what happened in the

beginning middle and end. • Review sight words with your child. They can practice reading,

writing, and spelling them. You can even create games with the words.

• Continue to work on counting with your child. Count to 100 by ones, fives, and tens.

• Practice doing addition and subtraction. You can use items in your house to help!

• Let them write and draw as much as possible. They can draw pictures and write words to describe the picture.

Lola loves flowers. She wants to plant a garden. She can find a spot outside in the yard. Lola wants a lot of flowers! She gets some seeds to plant. She has blue, white, pink, red, and orange flowers. She plants the seeds and gives them water. She uses plant food called fertilizer. Her flowers grow big and tall. She will pick them. Lola’s favorite flower is a red rose. Please ask the following questions to your child. Have them

The Coin

A nickel is worth five cents. Tom takes the nickel to his dad. Dad says it is an old nickel. Tom has to keep the old nickel in a safe spot. He puts it into a box in his closet. Tom loves finding treasure outside!
