Buckinghamshire County Council School Improvement Service Helen Warrington School Improvement Consultant [email protected] Helen has taught all Key Stage 2 year groups, including split year classes, and specialised in raising the achievement of minority ethnic pupils. She has been an NQT mentor. As the Education Worker for a Development Education Centre, Helen worked with pupils and staff from Key Stage 1 through to Sixth Form. As an Early Years Consultant she has worked with leaders and practitioners in a diverse range of Early Years settings – schools, private nurseries, pre- schools, playgroups and childminders – again with a focus on minority ethnic achievement. Helen has wide experience of delivering highly successful CPD training days and conference workshops, both local and national. She is a Talking Partners trainer – developing talk for learning at Key Stages 1&2. Helen has written five documents on reflecting cultural diversity in Early Years and Key Stage 1 which have been sold nationally.
