They have learnt more about what our values of Love, Respect and Perseverance might look like in pracce. They have all interpreted our Bible story of the Parable of the Lamp using dance; they have visited a prayer room to reflect on what the ‘Light of the World’ means and taken part in our Agape Service together. The children have also decorated pebbles to go in the Reflecon Garden, which is going to be officially opened by the Bishop later in the year. The children planted seeds when they were in the prayer room and talked about growing and light, linking it to the ‘Light of the World’. They are bringing them home today. Our special thanks go to Nigel, Geoff and Julia from the local church, who organised the prayer room and prepared all the stones. Congratulaons to Coe and Ollie D who took part in a Kent U11 Decathlon compeon. They now go on to represent Kent in some of these events in the future, which is a great achievement. Work on the

Golden Board

Dear Parents

The children have had an interesting RE and Reflection week. They have learnt more about what our values of Love, Respect and Perseverance might look like in practice. They have all interpreted our Bible story of the Parable of the Lamp using dance; they have visited a prayer room to reflect on what the ‘Light of the World’ means and taken part in our Agape Service together. The children have also decorated pebbles to go in the Reflection Garden, which is going to be officially opened by the Bishop later in the year. The children planted seeds when they were in the prayer room and talked about growing and light, linking it to the ‘Light of the World’. They are bringing them home today. Our special thanks go to Nigel, Geoff and Julia from the local church, who organised the prayer room and prepared all the stones.

Congratulations to Cotie and Ollie D who took part in a Kent U11 Decathlon competition. They now go on to represent Kent in some of these events in the future, which is a great achievement.

Next week we have a computer upgrade, which is great, but may mean emails are not picked up quite so quickly. Also next Thursday at 3.30pm there is a Parent Forum on ‘Supporting your child with Maths’, which anyone is welcome to attend.

Have a good week. John Gray

Come and enjoy.…Walk Church Sunday 2nd February 2.00pm

Taking church outdoors to

experience God by walking in

our beautiful local

countryside – a chance to

explore questions of faith,

including how faith can help

us better value our natural

world.

This is for everyone –

those with faith, those

with no faith, and those

who are somewhere in-

between!.

Walk Church starts and finishes from outside Stelling Minnis

Stores, Stelling Minnis CT4 6AS, and sets off at 2.00pm.

The walk will take about 1½ hours and is generally easy walking.

However, due to stiles and some of the footpaths, the walk is not

suitable for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues.
