He blesses you, YaHuWaH, and He guards you; He shines, YaHuWaH,
His Face to you, and He favors you; He lifts, YaHuWaH, His Face to you,
and He puts for you shalom.
So shall they put My Name upon the sons of Y’ISCHRaEL,
and I,
I will bless them in
For YaHuWaH knows the way of the righteous,
He who delights is in YaHuWaH’s Torah. Meditating day and night. For the
lawless shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation
of the righteous
Deliverance belongs to YaHuWaH
As I live, says the Sovereign YaHuWaH, surely with a mighty Hand, and
with an outstretched Arm, and with wrath poured out,
Shall I be king over you:
and I shall bring you out from the peoples, and shall gather you out of
the countries in which you are scattered, with a mighty Hand, and with
an outstretched Arm, and with wrath poured out; and I shall bring you
into the wilderness of the peoples, and there shall I enter into judgment
with you face to face.] Then when haMashiyach - YaHuWaH Master of
Armies comes, the prophecy of ZecharYahuw shall come to pass:
Without a king, there would be no kingdom, no laws and no subjects
Aleph wTaw
It shall happen in that Day that I shall seek to destroy all the nations
that come against Yahrushalom. I shall pour on the house of Dawiyd and
on the inhabitants of Yahrushalom, the Ruwach of favour and of
supplication; and they shall look to Me, Aleph wTaw, Whom they have
pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son,
and shall grieve bitterly for Him, as one grieves for his firstborn.
After these things I looked, and behold, a huge throng, which no one
was able to count - from among all ha'goyim and the families and the
peoples and the languages. They stand before the throne and before the
Lamb, clothed with long white robes, with palm branches in their hands.
They shout with a great sound, saying,
The One, Who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb?”
They are 70 in total, giving rise to the Hebraic idea that in reality there
are "70 nations" in the world, despite further divisions later. This is
borne out by (which correlates this number with the number of the sons
of YISCHRaEL, which in is listed as 70), and Yahuwshua sending out 70
disciples as a symbolic prelude to opening redemption to the whole
world. YISCHRaEL would be an offshoot of Peleg.]
The whole earth was/will be of one language and one speech.
Interestingly Shem and his families did not take part in the building of
the Tower of Babel, and kept his language (Hebrew) for us today
Language: literally "lip". The fact that all the names up to this point
make sense in Hebrew may give us a clue as to what that one language
was. Few: literally, the plural of the word "one"! "Few words" give little
room for argument, and all of them still had the same story—that of the
Deluge.
Deut. 32:8
When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when He
separated the children of men, He set the bounds of the peoples
according to the number of the children of YISCHRaEL.
Ber. 46:27
The sons of Yahuwseph, who were born to him in Mitsrayim, were two
beings being. All the beings of the house of Ya'aqob, who came into
Mitsrayim, were seventy.
YaHuWSHuWaH came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority
has been given to Me in shamayim and on earth. Go, and make
talmidim of all nations, immersing them in My Name. ...
YaHuWSHuWaH
(of Mashiyach it is written)
Teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you.
Behold,
I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
YaHuWSHuWaH proclaiming the Hope of the Reign
and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
Those glad tidings are offered today to those whom He is calling but
they come with a condition from YaHuWSHuWaH
An offered to you!”
YaHuWSHuWaH began to proclaim the glad tidings, and to say,
“Turn you, turn you, in repentance!
For the reign of the shamayim is being offered to you!”
"The shamayim" was often a euphemism used to avoid accidentally
misusing YaHuWaH's Set-apart name, much as HaShem ("The Name") is
used among today's Jews. The Kingdom was withdrawn from Adamah, to
be restored when mankind was redeemed. Ardent expectation of this
restoration of both David's and Adam's thrones took a variety of forms in
YaHuWSHuWaH day, chiefly because the date when
Daniel 9:25
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the word to
restore/return (shub) and to build Yahrushalom until the Mashiyach the
Prince, shall be seven weeks; and threescore and two weeks, and it shall
be built again, with broad place and moat, but in troublous times
prophesied the Mashiyach would appear was fast approaching. He did
accomplish the redemption, but the restoration of the Kingdom to
YISCHRaEL
Acts of the Envoys 1:6
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, “Our Master,
are you now restoring the Reign to YISCHRaEL?” (see Footnote A)
was delayed because the spiritual leaders, more interested in their own
positions of power, failed to recognize the day Daniel had specified
Lk. 19:44
And shall dash you and your children within you to the ground. They
shall not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know
the time of your visitation.”
because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.
and that the descendants of the Northern Kingdom had to be regathered
first. The present, inward rule of the set-apart Ruwach is "down
payment"
Eph. 1:13 14
in whom you also, having heard the Word of Truth, the Besorah of your
deliverance, in whom you also believed, you were sealed with the
Ruwach haQadosh of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance,
until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His
splendor.
of what is to come.
"And when you believed in Messiah, He identified you as His own by
giving you the Set-apart Ruwach, whom He promised long ago. The
Ruwach is YaHuWaH's guarantee that He will give us everything He
promised and that He has purchased us to be His own people.
Footnote A
Why would they ask this?
Because they knew this was one of the tasks Mashiyach had to fulfill.
Indeed, one reason today's Jews by and large have rejected
YaHuWSHuWaH is because he did not bring the Lost Tribes back. Or did
He?? He had just spent 40 days teaching them, and this was the
foremost question in their minds. Almost every time He mentioned the
Besorah, He associated it with the Kingdom. Some say the Kingdom
simply means "YaHuWaH's rule in the hearts and minds of men." While it
is certainly that, there is much more to it than that. Who is the
YISCHRaEL spoken of here? The Jews? Not directly. YaHuWaH said He
would choose one place in the Land of YISCHRaEL to establish such a
"habitation"
Deut. 12:5
Because you shall resort to the place which YaHuWaH your Aluahiym
shall choose out of all your tribes, to put His Name there, even to His
dwelling-place you shall seek, and there you shall come;
He does not even want to be worshipped in the same places the pagans
used. Though churches make their meeting places available to us free of
charge, this would suggest an approval of the wrongs that are taught
there. Instead, seek out the place He chooses. Enquire after it. It was
not a place of any man's choice. He does not yet say where this place
will be. That would not be revealed to them until David's time
1 Chron. 21:28; 2 Chron. 3:1
At that time, when Dawiyd saw that YaHuWaH had answered him in the
threshing floor of Ornan the Yebusite, then he slaughtered there. Then
Shelomoh began to build the House of YaHuWaH at Yahrushalom on
Mount MowriYahuw, where YaHuWaH appeared to Dawiyd his father,
which he made ready in the place that Dawiyd had appointed, in the
threshing floor of Ornan the Yebuwsiy.
although those closest to YHWH seemed to often have an inkling that
there was something special about this place. But even while in exile, the
etymology of the word for "place" tells us where we can get as close as
we can to His ideal: it is from the word for "rise up", so we must seek
Him in places that raise us higher. Out of all your tribes: Seek Him in the
place where Israel is gathered together around Torah. And seek Him in
places where His Name is recognized, not where the names of pagan
elohim (God, Lord, or those from any other language) are substituted for
His. These are places where we can find enough of His presence to
follow on toward the fuller manifestation of it there. In a more general
sense today, look for where He wants you to be, and go there. Whether
the dwelling place ends up being a temple or a tent this tent, we must
prepare to live in His presence by learning how to live with Him, just as a
long-time bachelor needs to learn different habits appropriate to living
with a woman before he marries.
When King Shelomo built the Hekal, He recognized that this is what
YaHuWaH had promised.
2 Chron. 6:2
that Your eyes may be open toward this House day and night, even
toward the place where You have said that You would put Your Name;
to listen to the prayer which your servant shall pray toward this place.
His reign was a foretaste of the Kingdom! But Solomon allowed his
foreign wives to bring idolatry into YISCHRaEL. YaHuWaH split
YISCHRaEL into two kingdoms. Dawiyd's throne remained with
Yahuwdah, but the name "YISCHRaEL" stayed with the ten tribes given
to Yaroboam, who had tried to persuade Shlomoh's son Rehoboam to
lighten their burdens. But Yaroboam took the liberty of setting up
alternatives to the dwelling place YaHuWaH had selected. The Northern
Kingdom also kept mixing religions, and walked more and more "in the
laws of the nations"
2 Kings 17:8;
and walked in the statutes of the nations, whom YaHuWaH cast out from
before the children of YISCHRaEL, and of the sovereigns of YISCHRaEL,
which they made.
Hos. 7:8
Ephrayim, he mixes himself among the nations. Ephrayim is a cake not
turned.
(half-baked - soft dough on one side burned on the other)
Ephrayim: the Aramaic targum comes right and says this is the House of
YISCHRaEL. Mixing himself: mingling so that the two are confused,
indistinguishable from one another; we thus became gentiles. Not turned
over: Aramaic, eaten before it is turned. We celebrated who we were
without paying the price. Thus we were “half-baked”. YaHuWaH wants
YISCHRaEL to be a light to the nations, but we didn’t let Him finish
making us mature before we exposed our pearls to the nations, and they
trampled them underfoot. Now that we have the rest of the Gospel—that
YaHuWSHuWaH came to restore all the tribes of YISCHRaEL--we are
being put back on the griddle so the light they “eat of” will be something
kodesh. It is time to be mature, not children.
Hos. 8:8
YISCHRaEL is swallowed up. Now they are among the nations like a
worthless thing.
Swallowed up: Lost their identity and forgot their origin. Among the
nations: They wanted to be just like the other nations of the world,
rather than His special treasure. Tool without a purpose: or vessel in
which there is no pleasure; an unacceptable utensil. YaHuWaH does not
need more ordinary tools; He has plenty, but since YISCHRaEL made
herself common (v. 10), He has no one to do the unique job He created
her for, and she is useless for anything else.
They wanted to be just like the others, so they were taken from the
Land and BECAME nations! Remember the prodigal's father, who had
one son still at home, looking expectantly for his other son to return? At
this time, Yahuwdah was still at home, safe in the sheepfold, and though
YaHuWaH had forsaken Efrayim "for a moment", His heart longed to
have His firstborn back! "How can I give up you up, my son?"
Hos. 11:8
“How can I give you up, Ephrayim? How can I hand you over,
YISCHRaEL?
Admah and Tzev’oyim: cities that were allied with S’dom and Ghamorah
(Gen.14), and thus utterly destroyed with them, even their land still
being unusable (Deut. 29:23). The LXX has more of a positive sense that
He will indeed make them like this, being in a quandary over how to deal
with them.
How can I make you like Admah? How can I make you like Tsebo'iym?
Despite a long estrangement, YISCHRaEL calling was still irrevocable.
Rom. 11:29
For the gifts and the calling of YaHuWaH are irrevocable
Irrevocable: never to be rescinded, as some try to claim. Though both
houses of Israel turned away from YHWH, as a collective unit He set
(different) time limits on the punishment for each.
(Yehezqel 4; Yirmeyahu 16:18; Lev. 26:24)
Aramaic, Eloah will not change His mind. YHWH will never go back on
His promises to the patriarchs of the blessings that He would bestow on
their literal descendants, whatever light others might gather from them.
Otherwise, we could not trust Him with any of His more recently-made
promises either.
Now that Mashiyach’s work of being a Kinsman-Redeemer was
completed, the Kingdom was indeed to be restored to YISCHRaEL. He
was the one who had set them thinking this way. But it had to all be
done in the right order:
Romans 11 reads
I ask then, did YaHuWaH shove away His people?
May it never be!
For I also am an YISCHRaEL’ite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe
of Binyamin.
YaHuWaH didn’t reject his people, which he foreknew. Or don’t you
know what the Scripture says about AluYahuw?
How he pleads with YaHuWaH against YISCHRaEL:
Romans 11:3 /1 Kings 19: 14
[I was surely zealous for YaHuWaH, the Mighty One of Hosts, because
the sons of YISCHRaEL rejected Your covenant; they demolished Your
altars and they killed Your predicators by the sword, and I, alone, am
left, and they seek my life (soul) to take it!”
Romans 11:4
But how does YaHuWaH answer him? “…Yet I reserve in YISCHRaEL
seven thousand men – all whose knees have not bowed before the
LORD (ha-BÁ`AL) and all whose mouths did not kiss it:”
The insuring of obedient Gentiles would be to the rest of the Jews a sign
that YaHuWaH was
“calling out from among the Gentiles a people for His name"
Acts 15:14
Simeon has reported how YaHuWaH first visited the nations, to take out
of them a people for His Name.
and thus signal to them that the promised restoration of Israel, upon
which this depended, had begun and they were failing to participate in
it. But these Gentiles were responsible to carry out the “obedience of
faith” that was crucial to proving this to the Jews.It is not so much the
salvation of the Gentiles that they are to be jealous about, but of Paul’s
ministry in particular, since it revealed a failure on the part of other
contemporary Jewish missionaries to be the kind of “light to the nations”
that YaHuWaH intended (Nanos), and most importantly a failure to
restore the lost tribes to the true faith. Salvation: Aram., life.
By His Grace
Romans 11:5 -6
Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant by the
selection of favour. And if the selection is by favour, then it is no longer
of works; otherwise favour is no longer favour. But if it is of works, it is
no longer favour; otherwise work is no longer work.
Whom He wished to empower with favor (grace): or, that which
brought Him delight.
Romans 9:15
For He said to Moshah, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I
will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”
Exodus 33: 19
He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim
the Name of YaHuWaH before you. I will be favorable to whom I will be
favorable, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.
Romans 9:16
So then it [being chosen] is not of him that wishes for it, nor of him that
strives after it, rather of YaHuWaH Who shows mercy.
Romans 9:17
For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I caused you
to be raised up, that I might show in you My power, and that My Name
might be proclaimed in all the earth
Exodus 9: 16
but indeed for this cause I have raised you up: to show you My power,
and that My Name may be declared throughout all the earth;
Romans 9:18
So then, to whom He will, He shows mercy; and on whom He will, He
allows to harden.
The remnant he is referring to here appears to be from the House of
Yahuwdah, which would include all those who had already acknowledged
Yahuahshua as their king. They would have "bought His vote". Working:
that is, for remuneration.
Romans 11:7-8
What then? That which YISCHRaEL seeks for, that he didn’t obtain, but
the chosen ones obtained it, and the rest were hardened. According as
it is written:
Clamoring: in their efforts to make themselves pure. Did not obtain: that
is, through mere Torah observance. Hardened: literally, covered with a
thick callous. Insensibility: in a state of intense shock (from a root
meaning “be pierced with sudden, intense pain”), connoting dizziness,
reeling, or dulled senses. The original Hebrew in
Yesh. 29:10
uses the same word as for the "deep slumber" that YHWH brought over
Adam when He wished to create Chavvah (Eve). Again He uses this
method to produce a co-benefactor of His blessings by "putting Israel to
sleep"! Yahauhshua played this out this same picture in one of His
healings.
Mat. 9:18-26
While He told these things to them, behold, a ruler came and paid
homage, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your
hand on her, and she shall live. YaHuWSHuWaH got up and followed
him, as did His talmidim. Behold, a woman who had an issue of blood for
twelve years [representing all 12 tribes - making them unclean] came
behind Him, and touched the fringe [tzitzit]of His garment [healing in His
Wings]; for she said within herself, “If I just touch His garment, I shall
be made well.”
(touching Him in her condition would have made Him unclean also - the
reason for the fear and timidity - see other accounts)
But YaHuWSHuWaH, turning around and seeing her, said, “Daughter,
cheer up! Your trust has made you well.” And the woman was made well
from that hour. When YaHuWSHuWaH came into the ruler’s house, and
saw the flute players, and the crowd in noisy disorder,He said to them,
“Make room, because the girl isn’t dead, but sleeping.” They were
ridiculing Him. But when the crowd was put out, He entered in, took her
by the hand, and said, kumi, kumi, and the girl arose. The report of this
went out into all that land.
Eyes that do not see: Aramaic, eyes that do not examine within.
YashaYahuw 29: 10
For YaHuWaH has poured out on them a ruwach of deep sleep, and has
closed their eyes, namely the prophets; and He has covered their heads,
namely the seers.
[Ruwach of deep sleep: insensibility, intense shock, dulled senses;
Aramaic, "deception". The original Hebrew uses the same word as for
the "deep slumber" that YaHuWaH brought over Adamah when He
wished to create Hawah;
In Romans 11: 11:25-26
For I don’t desire you to be ignorant, brothers, of this mystery, so that
you won’t be wise in your own conceits, that a partial hardening has
happened to Ysra'al, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,
and so all Ysra'al will be saved.
Paul quotes this verse and explains how He again uses this method to
produce a bride by "putting Ysra'al to sleep"! Compare1 Sh'muel 26:12;
and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither did any awake; for they were all
asleep, because a deep sleep from YaHuWaH was fallen on them.
Yahuwchanan 11:11ff; 1 Thess. 4:14.]
Deuteronomy 29.4
“But YaHuWaH did not give unto you a heart to understand or eyes to
see or ears to hear unto this day:”
Hear, O heavens, and cup your ear, O earth; for YaHuWaH has spoken:
“I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled
against Me.
Pause and wonder!
Blind yourselves and be blind!
They are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong
drink.
YashaYahuw 29:10
For YaHuWaH has poured out on them a ruwach of deep sleep, and has
closed their eyes, namely the prophets; and He has covered their heads,
namely the seers.
Dani'al wrote of a vision he had
'O my Master, what shall be the latter end of these matters?' And he
said: 'Go your way, Dani'al; for the words are hidden and sealed till the
time of the end.
YashaYahuw 29:11-13
The whole vision has become to them like the words of a book that is
sealed, which men deliver to one who is educated, saying, “Read this,
please;” and he says, “I can’t, for it is sealed:” and the book is delivered
to one who is not educated, saying, “Read this, please;” and he says, “I
can’t read.” Therefore YaHuWaH said, “Because this people draws near
with their mouth and with their lips to esteem Me, but they have
removed their heart far from Me, and their Fear of Me is a
commandment of men which has been taught;
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men"
YaHuWSHuWaH quoted this in MatithYahuw 15 in regard to the
P'rushim (Pharisees). He quotes it as "teaching as doctrines the
commandments of men" (quoting from the LXX, but in a slightly altered
order). We have seen many other examples of that since, such as the
Roman Catholic Church as well as the Jewish rabbis, who both say they
can overrule the Scriptures for the sake of human traditions.
Mark 7:13
Making void the Word of YaHuWaH by your tradition, which you have
handed down. You do many things like this.”
Hushuwa was told that the remedy for this is to bring words back to
YaHuWaH as the slaughter of our lips.
YashaYahuw 29:14
therefore, behold, I shall proceed to do a marvelous work among this
people, even a marvelous work and a wonder; because the wisdom of
their learned me has been lost, and the discernment of those who have
insight shall be hidden.”
[“For because this people approaches Me with their mouth, and with
their lips they honor Me, but their heart is far removed from Me, even
their reverence of Me is in vain , being taught rules of mortal men,
MattithYâ´huw 15: 6-9, Márquwç 7: 6] this is why, look! I AM HE Who
will do it again to do an extraordinary thing to this people: doing wonder
upon wonder, yet the wisdom of their learned ones will wander off and
get lost, and the understanding of their discerning ones will be carefully
hidden!”] 1 Cor. 1:19 For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the
wise, I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing.”
YashaYahuw 29:15
Woe to those who deeply hide their counsel from YaHuWaH, and whose
works are in the dark, and who say, “Who sees us?” and “Who knows us
what we do corruptly?"
[Compare Psalm 94:7-15 and Y'hezq'el 8:12ff.]
YashaYahuw 29:16
How perverse you are! Should the potter be reckoned as the clay?
Should what is made say of its Maker, “He didn’t make me;” or the thing
formed say of Him Who formed it, “He has no understanding of me?”
YashaYahuw 29:17
Isn’t it yet a very little while, and Lebanown shall be turned into a fruitful
field, and the fruitful field shall be regarded as a forest?
YashaYahuw 29:18
In That Day, the deaf shall hear the Word of the Book, and the eyes of
the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness.
This is one of the verses YaHuWSHuWaH alluded to when Yahuwchanan
the Immerser asked Him
(Luk. 7:19)
whether He or another like Him was the one who is to come--i.e., if He
was both the first and the second Mashiyach (i.e., "Son of Yoseyf", the
suffering Servant, and the "Son of Dawiyd", the conquering King). He
answered by telling him of the miracles He was performing as signs,
because they all foreshadowed the Kingdom when such healing would be
the norm. Romans 11 tells us that the full understanding will not be
restored to Ysra'al until the "fullness of the Gentiles" (which is Efrayim's
seed, Gen. 48:19) begins to return.
YashaYahuw 29:19
The humble also shall increase their joy in YaHuWaH, and the poor
among men shall rejoice in the Qadosh-One of Ysra'al.
YashaYahuw
Means
"YaHuWaH is my Savior"
the same meaning as YaHuWSHuWaH, but with the phrasing in the
reverse order … (My Savior is YaHuWaH). And YaHuWaH's deliverance
through the Anointed YaHuWSHuWaH fills a major part of his prophecy.
YashaYahuw was probably from the tribe of Yahuwdah. A contemporary
of Micha and Huwshua, he prophesied more than 200 years after the
division of Ysra'al, beginning in 740 B.C.E. (Just prior to King
UzziYahuw's death in 739), or about 18 years before the fall of the
Northern Kingdom. But he mainly addresses the southern kingdom of
Yahuwdah, which was now in decline as well, following the same pattern
of apostasy that Ysra'al had taken. Since he records the death of
Sancheriyb, it is estimated that he continued to prophesy for some 60
years, until about 680 B.C.E., when by tradition he was executed by
being sawn in two. As with all the prophets, his main theme is,
"Come back to the Torah!"
Listen to the petitions of Your servant, and of Your people
YISCHRaEL, when they shall pray toward this place: yes, hear
from Your dwelling place, even from heaven; and when You
hear, pardon.
