Come along for a fun filled

day where we will be

stuffing Xmas bears for

you to take home but first

you have to find the hidden

bears. We will also be

heading to Flipout for some

bouncing good fun.

CLONTARF RESERVE

Swimming & BBQ

Bring your swimmers & a towel to Clontarf reserve

for some swimming, Beach games, grass cricket, fun on the play equipment & BBQ lunch.

MONDAY 11/01

Wizzy World

Wizzy World’s play centre has been

designed for maximum fun in a

controlled and safe environment.

Features include BallPool, Walk of

Faith, 3 level wavy astro slides, 3

Level fast slide, 3 level spiral slide,

Boulder dash just to name a few. So

come with us for an action packed

day. We may even have a bop in the

Wizzy World disco room and hang

out in their unique sports zone.

TUESDAY 12/01 “BLOCKLERS”

Built by you

Come along and try Blocklers,

it’s a cool new activity where

boys and girls build their very own block kit. There will be lots

of other activities on the day.

Various crafts, cricket, water gun games, totem tennis and

dancing competitions.

Finishing off with the “Lego” movie.

Ryde Aquatic Centre

Ryde Aquatic centre is

an action packed water

day with loads to do.

Swim in the wave pool,

circle the whirl pool,

ride the slides or splash

around in duck bay.

Movie

“The Good Dinosaur”

Come with us on an epic journey

into the world of dinosaurs where

an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes

friends with a human, while

travelling through a harsh &

mysterious landscape. Arlo learns

the power of confronting his fears

& discovers how brave he really is.

& a play in the park @ the

equarter, Moore Park

FRIDAY 15/01 Kindy Farm Animal

Day

Hand feed sheep & goats, bottle feed calf & lambs, feed piglet, hold rabbits, chicks and ducks.

See sheep shearing & whip cracking. We will also be animal cake decorating, Wheels fun and

creating piggy masks just to name a few activities that will

be on throughout the day.

MONDAY 18/01 MANLY SEA LIFE

SANCTUARY

STUDIO MAKE & a swim

at Manly Cove See the sharks, turtles, fish and

penguins, view the feeding sessions and get hands on in

the interactive rockpool! This is before we have decorated our very own silk dream catcher at

STUDIO MAKE, craft studio Manly. Then cool off with a

swim at Manly Cove.

TUESDAY 19/01 Movies

Snoopy & Charlie

Snoopy the world’s most lovable beagle embarks upon his greatest mission. He takes to the skies to chase his arch-nemesis, The Red Baron. Join us to See what adventures Snoopy & Charlie get up to throughout this mission. Then we will be heading to Rocket park at Warriewood to have our lunch & a play in the park.

WEDNESDAY 20/01

THINGS THAT CREEP

CRAWL is a

Hands on bug display with fun

craft activities and interesting bug

facts. There will be loads of other

fun activities happening thought

out the day, creative chalk

drawings, giant parachute play & a

mini obstacle course to concur.

After a busy day we will finish with

“a bug’s life” the

movie while we snack

on popcorn.

THURSDAY 21/01 Fun Day Out

“Water Gala Day” We are heading to the fun day out “Water Gala Day”. There will be slip & slides, water tag, water wars & zorb balls to try. Other activities to try include bubbles galore, ultimate juke box

where you can have a sing along with your friends, & have a hit of cricket with

Cricket NSW, plus much more.

FRIDAY 22/01 Drive in movies and

inflatables day Come make your own car and

visit our very own drive in

movies! Then bounce your way

through a day of inflatable fun. This in-centre day will be

buzzing with craft activities,

cooking activities

and outside

Group games.

Don’t miss this action packed day.

WEDNESDAY 27/01 The Ultimate dance

crew & Flipout Bounce along with us to Flipout to try the giant trampolines &

jump into the foam cube pit.

Then back to the centre to learn new dance skills, exciting tricks

& get your dance moves on

with the Ultimate dance crew.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW (this list can be found on our website)

IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED ON HUBWORKS ALREADY, PLEASE GO TO HTTPS://HARBORD.HUBWORKS.COM.AU AND

REGISTER YOUR CHILD. PLEASE COMPLETE THE DIRECT DEBIT INFORMATION ON HUBWORKS.

Breakfast is not served for vacation care. Please ensure your child eats before they arrive.

Children must arrive by 8.45am on most excursion days. Please check the departure time for early departures.

EVERYDAY- Please pack morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and drinks and a refillable water bottle on ALL DAYS. To ensure

food does not spoil, please place cool packs in children's lunch boxes.

Children must be signed in and out daily by a parent/guardian (children are NOT permitted to sign themselves in)

Children in years K to 3 must be wearing a Harbord OOSH T Shirt on excursion days. Please place over jumpers on cold days.

You will be billed for an extra shirt if you forget your OOSH shirt.

OOSH jumpers are optional and are $20.00 purchase made on the booking form below. Children in Years 4 to 6 are welcome

to buy shirts.

Children will need to wear sensible walking shoes, a top that covers their shoulders and bring a hat, sunscreen, raincoat (on

wet days) and a suitable back pack.

MEDICATION – a medication form must be completed. The medication container must have the child’s name clearly labelled

on it and handed to staff on the day. EPI PENS need to be handed to staff on the day. Asthma medication may be carried in

the child’s bag.

NO spending money unless specifically mentioned on the program.

Children often participate in messy activities so please don’t wear your best outfits.

Please pack swimmers, towel and a change of clothes for all days in summer as we have spontaneous water play.

Children are permitted to wade at the beach (up to their knees)

Children are NOT permitted to bring mobile phones or other electrical devices. In-expensive toys are permitted, however

Harbord OOSH will take no responsibility for these items.

If you need to contact your child’s group while they are on excursions the numbers are juniors: 0437167883, Seniors:

0429524163, Club 4up: 0437198619. Please be aware that groups will often be busy on excursions. Please leave a message

and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Excursions may be changed at the discretion of the coordinator if the situation requires it.

Your child’s OOSH group corresponds with the year they are in/will be in at School. EG-If your child is entering year 4 in 2015

they will be in the 4up group for the January holidays. If your Child is in year 1 in 2015 they are in the Junior group still for

Dec pupil free days and the Senior group for Jan Vac days.
