FOLLOW-UP AUTORESPONDER TEMPLATES

Automating your email sequences is a great way to nurture your clients and keep them in the loop of what is going on in your business. It takes a little work up-front, but soon you’ll have an automated solution for increasing your sales and building trust with your customers. We’ve provided a few email templates for you. Remember, these are for inspiration purposes. Please rewrite each email to match your voice and your brand! OPT-IN SEQUENCE

Your email opt-in sequence obviously is going to resemble and reflect whatever you have for an opt-in gift. If you are giving away a free guide, the follow up should be along those lines. If you are giving a discount, your follow up should have a call to action to get them to purchase. Email #1 Final Welcome Email sent immediately post opt-in Title: Your Gift Certificate is Inside Dear (First Name Field), Thank you so much for staying connected with (Enter Brand Name). Enter something interesting about the brand. Here is your gift certificate that I promised you: (enter discount code) Enjoy $50 towards your next purchase over $150. Go Here to shop the collection (enter a picture) Your gift certificate is valid for (enter the amount of time-suggested short time period like 5 days). If you haven’t done so, make sure you follow me on Instagram and Pinterest. Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you wear my jewelry!

Sincerely, (Your Name)

Email #2 Follow up #1-2 days before expiration This email should be a final reminder for the free gift to download or a follow up about your free gift I am using the gift certificate or discount code idea here. But get creative and make sure it’s time sensitive so that you send the follow up right before the offer will expire. Title: Have you had a chance to use your Gift Certificate yet? Dear (First Name Field), I just wanted to follow up to make sure you had a chance to use your gift certificate! (enter a picture of your jewelry) Your gift expires in 2 days so take a few minutes right now to shop through my signature collections: (enter collection name), (enter collection name) and (enter collection name). Please enjoy $50 towards any purchase of $150 or more. Shop the entire collection here Have an awesome day! Warmly, (Your Name)

Email #3 About 7-10 days post opt sending them to your blog The third email in your sequence should be something to nurture your clients. Send them to your social media or your blog to keep them engaged and connected to your brand. Title: My favorite piece for you….

Dear (First Name Field), Just wanted to check in with you because I’ve been designing a lot of new collections that I think you might enjoy like the X collection. (Enter an image that is clickable).. My x collection was designed with savvy, stylish women like you in mind. I love to see my clients wear my jewelry THEIR way. If you haven’t seen it yet, there is a great feature on my blog describing inspiration behind the collection. I’d love for you to check it out! Read more here…. After you read the post, I would love to her your thoughts. Tell me in the comments below the post which piece is your favorite! xo, (Your Name)

Optional Additional Email Sequence You can continue the sequence indefinitely. I would say a good rule of thumb is to send 3-10 emails in an initial opt in sequence depending on the angle you go with. Any additional follow ups should be a combination of nurturing and selling. I would keep the correspondence highly visual with a single strong call to action in each email. You don’t want too many calls to action because too many options often lead to your subscribers doing nothing. FOLLOW UP SEQUENCE POST PURCHASE

If you have a more lush email marketing system, you’d want to tag anyone who purchased from your opt-in sequence as a buyer (so they don’t continue

FOLLOW UP SEQUENCE FOR CONTACT FORM OR COMMISSIONED WORK

You might have prospects contact you through your website on a daily basis or even just sporadically. It’s awesome to make sure that your prospects and clients know that you are on it and have got their back! Regardless of why they are responding for either general contact or custom/commissioned work, you should acknowledge that you received the email and inform them about when they should expect to hear from you. You might also lead them to a FAQ section or a terms of service section. Email #1 Thank you Acknowledgement
