Monroe @ Pitusa

Today I received this gorgeous 'Monroe' dress from Pitusa. Pitusa, established in 2010 and based

in Miami, aspire to create 'transnational, high quality garments dedicated to comfort, coziness

and coluor', and I think that they have delivered just that! The dress, which combines bold, silver

lycra with a beautiful turquoise acrylic belt, is clearly inspired by the silhouette of the iconic

white dress which it's namesake Marilyn once wore, however I love the fact that the colourway

and fabric choice really brings it up to date. It works well both as an evening dress (paired with

heels, like I have done here) or more casually for the day time with sandals or turquoise dolly
