What is Handwriting Analysis? Handwriting analysis is an effective and reliable indicator of personality and behaviour defined by your handwriting skills. Handwriting is generally learned by watching another person write when you are young, but you later develop your own style of writing, which later expresses your personality.

After the a professional handwriting analyst has went through the note or any written evidence left on the crime scene,you receive results based on the handwriting style. Weather you are happy, caring, angry, polite, impatient etc. Basically handwriting analysis is a language you have to know to catch a criminal/criminals.

The concepts of Handwriting Analysis

How it is used in a crime?When there is a suspect in a crime and the evidence includes a note, investigators call handwriting experts to see if there is a match. That one piece of evidence can charge the suspect or the suspect will eventually be convicted.

Why do we use Handwriting Analysis?

In crime scene investigations, handwriting analysis is used to make predictions about personality or behaviour. In law enforcement, graphology is used to find out whether or not an important document of any sort was forged or if mysteriously checks were being signed off by different accounts, but by the same source/person.

In 1980, Pei-Shen Qian was arrested for $80 million dollars in art forgery. His store was set up in Manhattan and he would pay scam artist to paint replicas of famous art portraits and sell them for thousands of dollars. Pei also signed checks in others names to the scam artists so he wouldn't raise suspicions to police.After months he settled in Shanghai and later stole $54k worth of art from Damien Hirst Art Gallery.

For example….

Pei -Shen-Qien was sentenced 99 years to life in prison at the age of 73 years old.
