Pages 14 - 17.Deals with Clothing and Equipment (Bekleidung und Ausrtfstung).Pages 14 and 15 de al w ith c lo th in g and equipment which i s "loaned"to the OT member eit h er through the OT i tse l f , or, in some books, through the ausp ice s of ttie DAP a t th e ind uction cen ter , (Leihw eiseim Lager durch d ie DAP erh a lte n ). There does n ot seem to be anymaterial reason -why this equipment should be parcelled out to a manthrough th e OT or through the DAP. Every OT member is auto m at ical lymade a member of the DAP (and has to pay ce r ta in dues) and t h is i sprobably on ly meant to make a man f e e l th at he i s g et ti n g somethingfrom the DAP in retu rn . However, as many of the DienstbiUcher makeno mention of the DAP in th i s res p ec t, i t can be assumed th at i t i sa mere technicality and those things which he receives here do notcoincide in any way with the a r t i c l e s li s te d in the DAP se ct io n ofthe book on page 28. These a r t i c l e s , f if te e n of them, are l i s t e ddown the l e f t hand sid e of -the page. At the top of the l i s t i s aspace for the date and acr oss the bottom of the page, in v e r t i c a lcolumns is listed the OBL, (and signature of the Clothing Supervisor(Kammerverwalter)), where the e f f e c t s were given ou t. Three-quartersof each page are devoted to the receipt of the items listed and then,

tr ansfe rs to various camps while a member of a Stross'trupp.Page 30.
