SNF Polychemie Expansion Update

Industry/Company: SNF – Polychemie
Overview: SNF is adding two synthesis reactors – a tank farm and ancillary vessels for additives and scrubbers. This will help with the production of Flosperse, a liquid used to inhibit scaling in water pipes.
Update: Under construction.

that create new jobs, tax base and revenue.
➢Transparency and Communication - Budget and audit awards from GFOA
➢Workforce – Hancock County has a productive workforce, but the availability is lacking. We established a committee and still inviting others to participate to help
address the issues. First step is to broadly implement ACT Work Ready Community
initiative to benchmark ourselves.
➢Political Support – Dredging, BP Economic Damages $ and other projects will need it to grow industrial tax base and keep homeowner’s taxes lower
➢Capture Multiplier Effect - Cities and County have to begin to get a plan to capture more payroll related financial and quality of life benefits from industrial attraction
