DORINDA HALTRICH Dorinda Haltrich works for the Grove Park Inn coordinating housekeeping services. She moved to the Asheville area a little over seven years ago, and soon thereafter began her job at the Inn. Dorinda was born in Columbia (South America) as the daughter of missionaries. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and a joint US/Columbian citizen. She was overjoyed to learn she had been approved by Habitat’s Board of Directors to purchase a home, and equally excited to be a future member of Habitat’s Swannanoa community. Dorinda remarked during her orientation, “being a part of a community is important to me. I am really looking forward to knowing my neighbors and supporting them however I can.” Dorinda’s 2 bedroom/1 bath house is sponsored by the 28 th Judicial District Bar and will be in Habitat’s 17-home neighborhood in Swannanoa.

DORINDA HALTRICH
