February 2019 is Kindergarten Registration Month!

If your child is born in 2015 they are able to attend Junior Kindergarten in September 2019!

Registration Package can be picked up from the school! Please visit the Office.

Mr. Rowan and Ms. McMichael have been taking care of our fruits and vegetables given to us through the Grow Tower! Our first cucumber has bloomed!!!!

Last week our students learned how to make music through the App Garage Band! Mr. Joyce will be continuing this learning with students!

You should hear the beats the students made!! In fact, we will try to load them in the future (when we figure out how!)!!Maybe we’ll ask Geek Squad! LOL!

Our students also had the opportunity to design their own houses using the App SketchUp! They had an opportunity to look at it from the top view, side view, front view, etc. Beginning the discussion of Engineering!

These are EV3s. They are robots that students could program to do amazing things - really all depends on the students’ imaginations!

Purchasing an EV3 is one of our school’s STEM goals!

Halbert’s EarlyON Child and Family Centre

The EarlyON Child and Family Centre is a program for parents and caregivers with children from infants to 6 years of age. This FREE program is located in Room # 9. Daily activities include family story and music time, art, sand and water play, gym time and a nutritious snack. Please visit the centre whenever you can and participate in an enjoyable play based program.

Mondays - Thursdays 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
