Habilitative Systems, Inc. (HSI) provides a service haven for many of Chicago’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged residents - people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, veterans, ex-offenders, unemployed, elderly, homeless and youth and families at risk. Our programs offer a wise investment, to help alleviate rising costs of institutionalization, incarceration or emergency room care.

Habilitative Systems, Inc. serves over 7,000 people in Englewood, North Lawndale, West Garfield and Austin Community Areas in Chicago
One of five newly constructed houses. Four are for persons with disabilities that provide a community based, less restrictive environment for this population.One is for provides services to Williams Decree Consent Class Members.

Each facility provides 59 one-bedroom unfurnished apartments with a large living room/dining area combination, full size kitchen that includes stove and refrigerator.Service Coordinators assist tenants in obtaining services for maintaining independent living.
