My Aged Care My Aged Care is an Australian Government initiative that helps you find the information you need about aged care services including transport options. There are two types of transport services available. You can be picked up by a transport service or you may receive vouchers or subsidies for taxi services. www.myagedcare.gov.au 1800 200 422 Aged care transport services Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS) The PTSS provides financial assistance to eligible patients (and approved escorts) who are required to travel more than 50 kilometers from their local public hospital to access specialist medical services.
