1. Where are you from, and what 2 things do you like about it? Charlotte NC. I like how close it is to GWU. I like having an NFL (Panthers) and a NBA (Bobcats) team.

2. How many siblings do you have? I have two twin younger sisters (17) juniors in HS and a deceased older brother (Chip) at 23

3. How long have you been playing soccer? 17 years

4. Why did you choose Gardner-Webb? It was close to my house but not too close. I liked the class sizes and how the teachers actually knew who you were. On my

official visit I had a great time hanging out with the guys on the team. It’s the only school that offered me academic money. It

has a D1 soccer team that would challenge me to get playing time and become better.

5. What do you want to be doing ten years from now? I have no idea what I am going to be doing ten years from now. I want a family kids a dog and all that bull shit but I don’t know

if I want to be a coach and teach high school or be a personal trainer or go in the marines or the navy or work for a cruise

company and travel a lot but of corse if I get the chance to play pro I would love to do that above everything else.

8. Who do you look up to most and why? There are a lot of people in my life that I look up to so I don’t know who I look up to the most but some who I really look up to

is my mom because she has been through so much in her life and no matter what she never puts herself first. She does

everything she can to make everyone happy around her. She cares so much about me and I know she’s always someone I

can call and talk about anything with.

9. Which TV show do you never miss? I never missed Entourage. Suits. How I met your mother.

10. During the season what team do you want to beat the most and why? LIBERTY I don’t need to say why!

11. Have you ever travelled abroad? If so where? No but this summer I’m going to Costa Rica to study Spanish and receive a minor.

12. What is your favorite food? I’m a huge meat fan I like steaks, chicken, and seafood.

14. What would you do if you had a day where you had absolutely nothing to do? I would go for a run, play with the ball, go out to eat, take my dog to the river, go see a movie, playing call of duty and Fifa and

hang out with friends in the evening.

4. Why did I choose gardner-webb? Transferred from Belmont university in Nashville to find a better fit for me academically and for soccer as well.

5. What do I want to be doing 10 years from now? Id like to be an Orthopedic Physicians Assistant making bank.

6. What music do I listen to? Everything. Rap, trance, dubstep, rock, country, etc

8. Who do I look up to most and why? My dad. He took a phys ed major and ended up getting a great job with nike and has been well off.

1. where are you from and what 2 things do you like about it? I'm from chicago but live in vancouver. I like vancouver because it is really easy to get around and there's

3. How long have you played soccer for? I have played since I was 7, but only got competitive at U-11

4. Why did you choose Gardner-Webb? My cousin went hear along with many other family members. I heard good things about the school and team.

5. 10 years from now, what will you be doing? I want to have a stable job and be settled in a big city.

1. Where are you from and what 2 things do you like about it? I am from West Lawn, Pennsylvania. I like it because it is relatively close to Philadelphia and I also like the variety of weather it can display, from the coldest of winters to relatively hot summers. Pennsylvania is a beautiful state and is filled with civilization.

2. How many siblings do you have? I have 3 brothers, Bret who is 29, Eric who is 23, and Mike who is 21. Mike being my twin. I also have a dog, Augie, a golden retriever.

3. How long have you been playing soccer? Ever since I can remember, I’ve been playing all my life.

4. Why did you choose Gardner-Webb? Gardner-Webb had the nicest and most diverse soccer players as compared to the other colleges I had visited. I also thought that North Carolina seemed like a nice state and would have nice weather. Also, I felt like I could compete for playing time as a freshman, which was important to me at the time.

5. What do you want to be doing 10 years from now? My dream would be to still be playing some form of professional soccer 10 years from now. If a professional playing career isn’t possible, then I’d really love to be a goalkeeper coach at a high level.

6. What music do you listen to? Anything other than country.

7. What sports team do you support? I support every team based in Philadelphia including the Philadelphia Union, Phillies, Eagles, Flyers. I am not biased toward any specific international soccer team, I respect every player and team at that level of soccer.

8. Who do you look up to most and why? My dad. My dad was a professional swimmer and triathlete and was very successful at both sports. He at once held a world record in swimming and once was ranked in the top 10 of all triathletes in the world. He was also an excellent soccer player in college. He attended West Chester University and The University of Maryland. My dad was a great athlete and I can only strive to be as successful as he was. Easily one of my heros.

9. Which TV show do you never miss? At the moment, season 2 of Nikita.

10. During the season what team do you want to beat the most and why? During the regular season I would love to beat any ranked team, I love proving people wrong. But when Big South Conference time comes around, I’d absolutely love to beat Liberty as they stood between us and going to the NCAA Tournament last year. No words can explain my hunger to win “The Ring” and put Gardner-Webb on the map by going to NCAAs.

11. Have you ever travelled abroad? I’ve been to the Caribbean Islands.

12. What is your favorite food? Philly Cheesesteak from Larry’s.

13. What is your biggest pet peeve? People called me “Mike” or say I look like him, even though he is my twin brother.

14. What would you do if had a day where you had absolutely nothing to do? If I chose to do something, then it wouldn’t be a day of nothing to do… would it?

16. If you could go anywhere on earth for a 2 week vacation, where would you go and why? I’d go to The Seychelles islands of the Indian Ocean. The Seychelles Islands contain the world’s most beautiful beaches. It would be a great place to relax and enjoy the weather, but at the same time offer great opportunity to swim, snorkel and dive in very clear water.

1. Where are you from, and what 2 things do you like about it? I am from Jacksonville, FL what I like about Jacksonville is that I have a job there and I have my family there.

3. How long have you been playing soccer? I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old.

4. Why did you choose Gardner-Webb? I chose Gardner-Webb because I had a chance to play soccer at a high level, my sister went here, and it had a more focused Christian atmosphere than other colleges that I was considering.

5. What do you want to be doing 10 years from now? I would like to be a high school chemistry teacher as well as a soccer coach at the school and at a local club.

6. What music do you listen to? I listen to almost everything but now my favorite is alternative music like Foster The People and Neon Trees

7. What sports team do you support? I support the Miami Dolphins, The U in college football, Memphis Tigers and the Mississippi State Bulldogs in college basketball, the Montreal Canadians in hockey, and Toronto FC for MLS and Sunderland

8. Who do you look up to most and why? My cousin Tyler since he is the closest thing to an older brother I have, he seems to have his life on track, and he helps motivate me to do my best in all that I do.

and the second is it is kind of close to everything.

4. Why did you choose Gardner-Webb University? I choose it because it was a good school and not too many people.

1. Where are you from, and what 2 things do you like about it? Originally I am from Sylva, NC and grew up in Lexington, South Carolina. Now I am a resident of Boiling Springs, and I have been here for 25 years. So I like the slow pace of life and the safety it gives to raising a family.

2. How many siblings do you have? NONE

3. How long have you been playing soccer? For 39 years

4. Why did you choose Gardner- Webb? They offered me a job. The real story is that I interviewed to start the program in 1987. I didn’t get the job and got a call in November of 1988 that they wanted me to come back and resubmit my name for the job, after they fired the first coach.

5. What do you want to be doing 10 years from now? Be coaching Gardner-Webb University Men’s Soccer or working in the athletic administration.

6. What music do you listen to? I am into an eclectic mix rock, reggae, and blues.

7. What sports team do you support? Gardner-Webb – Chelsea – Washington Redskins –

8. Who do you look up to most and why? My dad, because he is the most noble and honorable man that I know.

15. What is your biggest fear? Not living up to a high standard for my kids which includes the players and the Sisyphus Effect – where you keep working and rolling to the top of the hill and then see it roll back down again.

16. If you could go anywhere on earth for a 2 week vacation, where would you go and why? Back to Jamaica because there is sun, sand and red stripe.

17. If you could invent or discover 1 new thing what would it be? A system that would allow 360 soccer training, that would allow a player to see the game and make decisions – seeing what the result would be. Then they could replay the action and see if they had chosen another action what would have happened. Allowing the player and coach to interact.

18. What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? Everything is time economics - you trade your time for things and Manure rolls down hill

19. Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life, why? Gene Hackman, Gerard Butler. Hackman because he is such a good actor and can make any movie good. Gerard Butler because he is in that same category.
