Hello to all of our members and friends of Club India International SA INC I hope you are all well and bracing your selves for the clubs winter activities Just for those who could not attend the Curry picnic, the following information may influence you to attend the next one. Some 99 people attended and the weather was perfect. An assortment of curries were savoured by all. Rice and bread rolls were also available, and Indian CHAI was on tap all day for everyone to enjoy.

In addition to all of the above, afternoon Tea was served consisting of Cakes, biscuits, fresh fruits and around 150 Tim Tams. Children were given lollies and cordials. Notwithstanding, that all attendees were encouraged to help with seconds and thirds, in order to finish all the food, there being heaps left over, we were able to give away take home packs, and most were quite happy to give the club a donation for this. Several games and Bingo were also held and the picnic ended close to 5 pm. All the above were provided for a cost of a dish or in some cases people were happy to pay a small fee. Please note our Mid Year Dance Nite will be on Saturday 27 June commencing at 7 pm and will finish by 11 pm at The Reedbeds Community Centre, 19 Fitch Road, FULHAM. This is a family event and will include a few activities. Refer to the flyer enclosed for more details. The Club is assured of lively dance music provide by a DJ.

This is a B.Y.O function in addition to Tea Coffee and CHAI being provided by the Club. The cost to members being $ 8.00 single & $15 for Family, for more details refer to the flyer. Our next function will be the AGM on Saturday 1 August again at the Reedbeds Community Centre which will commence at 6 pm and finish at 9 pm. Food Tea/Coffee as usual will be provided at no cost to members. Non members are welcome, but will not be permitted to vote, however for a small cost may enjoy the meal if they so wish. Lastly and very importantly, the Club will be looking for a replacement President, as I am past my shelf life. I will continue as Public Officer if required, but firmly believe, new talent is required if the Club is to grow.

I, therefore urge as many to show their interest in any capacity to join the Committee, to ensure prosperity and longevity of Club India. Keep warm and enjoy life where possible.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2014—2015

In accordance with clause 8 of the CLUB's CONSTITUITION,

NOTICE is hereby given that the 27th AGM will be held on

1st August 2015 commencing at 1800 hours ( 6pm) at the Reedbeds Community Centre 19 Fitch Road FULHAM.

Only Financial members will be able to vote, however, under BY- LAWS of the constitution, point 5 section D, visitors may attend having paid for the evening meal .

I urge as many members to attend, and nominate for any position, that will be supported by myself as outgoing President.

Under the Associations Incorporation Act of 1985 section 8.3, at least 14 days notice of this meeting shall be given to members, and as the President I must comply with the instruction of The Office of Consumer and Business Affairs.
