I think it seems fun with all the hands on work

What To Do on The Job

Fix guns that are brought in Make new guns for customers Shoot guns to make sure they are

safe Unveil guns to people Tinker with guns by putting

different parts on

Working conditions

Shop or factory Can be dangerous Year round 5 days a week Normal hours

2 year college courses on Gunsmithing

High school degree Recommended to take any trade or

shop classes

Job outlook

It could go two ways Bad because gun laws might not

have room for gunsmiths Good because gun laws might

leave some openings

Earnings

Starting out is $10 an hour Most make up to $25,000 to

$60,000

Basic technology used Machines to make parts Phones to call for parts

Summary

Gunsmithing just seems fun to do. I’m really interested in how they are made and work. I also like the hands on work aspect.
