Guillermo Gonzalez Camarena was born on 17th february, 1917 in Guadalajra Mexico. He was son of Arturo Gonzales and Sara Camarena,he was the youngest of eight children.When he was two years,his family moved to Mexico City,still be a child maked electrically driven toys,achieved make your first radio transmitter, and the twelve built his first amateur radio. In 1930 he graduated from the school of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, IPN.He was also an amateur astronomer, he built his own telescopes and was a member of the Astronomical Society of Mexico. In 1935 he began his research on television, which had already been successfully tested in Berlin in 1931 by Von Ardene and Loewe, although this did not stop friends and family would question his sanity, for that experiment was not known for public. In 1940 he patented his system to transmit in color, although it had not yet experienced in practice. In 1945 conducted the first television broadcasts in the Alameda cinema, and managed to be granted its own channel, Channel 5. In 1963 conducted the first broadcast from its color system, which gave him great popularity. The first international successes obtained them during the broadcast of the Olympics in Japan in 1964. He died on 18th april,1965 in a car aacident when he returned to inspect the repeater transmitter Channel 5 at Cerro de Las Lajas, Veracruz, to extend the signal generated television network in Mexico City to the east of the country.
