Feedback On The Common Global Agenda

For the Users:• Was this “consumable” for the audience?

• Did they find this information valuable?

• Will they be able to follow this moving forward?

• Will this effect their work, behavior and especially as it relates to implementation of the standards?

• For the MO’s:• Was this easily conveyed?

• Was it helpful for your MO to have the “One Stop Change Shop”?

Pilot Questions from the MOs

1. What if there are two members participating from one company in the local Franchise. Does only one complete the application form?

Answer: The philosophy of the franchise is: "One person, One vote". We hope that companies will have multiple franchise members because these people have different business expertise. Examples might be packaging engineers vs. EDI experts vs. inventory managers, etc.

Any effort to restrict this will run into difficulties in managing the program. This is why (as you see in the slide on voting) that we keep Franchise voting separate from Core voting. The Franchise voting is "feedback" on the decision, more so than carrying the same influence as the due process vote taken in a formal core GSMP work group or BRG. Core voting is policed, while Franchise voting is not (because we can't).

Pilot Questions, cont.

2. What if a company has an overseas branch or multiple offices. Does the local person still apply and how many votes will be carried by this company (two ?, multiple?)?

Answer: This is largely answered by the first answer. Probably one of the weaknesses of the GSMP history of "one COMPANY, one VOTE", is that in reality, very few companies are really a global monolith. Most are more like a loose affiliation of different business entities with different needs. Thus, we HOPE that we will have a true diversity of geographic input, and this can come in some cases from the same company.

Now, we may put in a safe guard moving forward which will check to see if there's been a "block" vote by any one particular global company. To do this, however, we need the central membership bank which is in the plan.

Pilot Questions, cont.

3. When GO assigns login details, will the local Franchise MO be told who the people are, so we can confirm participants?

Answer: Yes, we will provide all information on membership to the MO's. We are working on how this may be facilitated from a system perspective. Membership lists are now located in the eRoom.

4. The Group has requested forward plans for meetings so that we can lock dates in. When can these be available?

Answer: We currently have 3 GA meetings scheduled through May. Once the Pilot is complete, and a decision is made to move MO Franchise into production, meetings will be scheduled monthly.

Any Pilot Comments from MOs?

We are looking for any input, such as:

• Are Tools easy to use? Helpful?

• Is the Launch Kit useful?

• What are user/ company members saying?

• What should we keep? What should we change?

• Any suggestions for the 2nd GA?
