Once a year we open the Peter Chope Residence to the public for an Artist Reception. This year it is Saturday, March 17 from 2 to 7 pm.

Peter’s watercolors are filled with color and emotion and are representative of the Southern Arizona. We paint each frame with clay/chalk organic paints to bring out the color of each painting.

The Van Helsland Studio

DIKKI VAN HELSLAND

A Unique Batik Art gallery and studio owned by Dikki and Marshall.

Batik is an art form using wax as a resist and dyes for color on cotton cloth, usually matted and framed under glass and presented as fine art.

During the Open Studio Tour the venue features 8 artists showing works in ceramics, oils, watercolor, acrylic, and gourds. The garden setting has a wonderful festival air with tents, fabulous art, and offering light refreshments.

The Van Helslands welcome visitors all year round by appointment.

Batik es una forma de arte que utiliza cera como un resistente y tinte para color en tela de algodón, generalmente enmarañado y enmarcado bajo el vidrio y presentado como arte fina.
