Upcoming pool events for Summer 2018!

June 10th-Pool opens to public for FREE swim 2:00pm-6:00pm

June 13th- Last day of School POOL PARTY- $2 admission- 2:30pm-5:30pm

June 14th and 15th- Open Swim 1:00pm-4:00pm

June 16th- Regular pool schedule begins: - Swim Team Begins June 18th

- Swim Lessons start June 25th

mini session June 25th-28th

June 25th Water Aerobics begins - 7:05-8:00pm (Days per week TBD)

SWIM-A-THON July 7th - Come support your Sea Lions by participating or donating to a swimmer!

Jefferson Community Food Pantry News

SPRING IS UPON US… How about planting an extra row of vegetables in your home garden this year to provide more fresh produce to the Jefferson Community Food Pantry? Plant your extra seeds and tend them with the rest of your garden. Donate your extra row produce to the Pantry from 2:30pm-4pm on

Wednesdays or leave on the back (northside) ramp of the Jefferson United Methodist Church any Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays. You will receive a tax donation receipt at time of delivery. And, remember, you can always donate any surplus fresh produce from your garden or orchards even if it isn't originally planted for this purpose!!

CHANGES TO JOIN THE MONTHLY SUSTAINER CIRCLE The Sustainer Circle is a group of donors who have made a special commitment to contribute monthly and help the Jefferson Community Food Pantry to respond to hunger in the Jefferson, Scio, Crabtree, Talbot and Millersburg areas. building directly behind the District Office. Individuals wishing to address the Board during audience time will be asked to sign in upon arrival.

Board Director Opening

Board Director - Position 4 currently held by Claire Steele is open for applicants. Director

Steele is moving out of district and will no longer be eligible to continue as a Board Director

for the Jefferson Rural Fire Protection District. The position will be vacated on May 1,

2018. Eligible candidates must be residents of the Fire District, or own property within the

Fire District, and be registered voters. Position 4 term will end June 2021.

If you are interested in applying for this position, please contact Tammy Robbins at the Fire

District administrative office by calling 541-327-2822 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and

5:00 p.m. Our Fire District is located at 189 N. Main St., Jefferson, Oregon to apply in

person or email at: trobbins@jeffersonfire.org. An application will need to be completed to
