Affirmatives & Negatives
To express extremes in most adjectives, drop the final VOWEL and add the ending –isimo(a).ex: El pollo es picantísimo!
(The chicken is extremely spicy!) Sometimes, you need to change the ending:• C qu rico riquísimo (very rich/sweet)• G gu largo larguísimo (very large)• Z c feliz felicísimo (very happy)
Superlatives
Reflexive verbs appear when the sub-ject of a sentence is the same as the object.

When using modal verbs, the first verb is conjugated, but the second one is left in its infinitive form.
Ejemplo:◦ Debemos poner la

Modal Verbs
In order to say that something is currently happening, conjugate estar and add –iendo, -ando, or –yendo to the end of an infinitive.
Ejemplos:◦Estoy sacando la
basura ahora.◦Estamos
barriendo el suelo ahora.
◦Ellos están leyendo en sus cuartos.
Present Progressives
To turn an adjective into an adverb..◦ If it ends in e, l, or z:
simple add –mente to the end
◦ If it ends in o, change it to an a and add –mente
****When 2 adverbs modify the same subject, only the second one gets the -mente
