Program Planning and Course Selection ProcessGrade 11
2020-2021
Importance of Course Selection
• Your choices determine the courses we will run and how many sections will be available. If you don’t choose a course now, you may not be able to make changes later.
• Grade 11 courses are important prerequisites for Grade 12 courses and post secondary requirements.
• Summer school is an option for some grade 11 courses. You will not be able to register until later in the semester. You will add that course to your selections now.
Things to Consider

• What is your pathway? (Apprenticeship, College, Community, University, Workplace) What courses do you need to pursue your pathway?
• Talk to you parents, teachers, guidance counsellor for input on your pathway based on your learning skills and achievement.
