On the recommendations of the Screening Committee constituted for grantof financial up-gradation under the Modified Assured Career progression Schemeto Planning and Statistical Cadre in accordance with the instructions containedin OM No. 35035/3/2008-Estt.(D) dated 19.05.2009 of the Govt. of India,Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions (Deptt. of Personnel andTraining), the Chief Secretary, Delhi is pleased to nominate the followingStatistical Officers on the completion of 20/30 years of regular service for grantof financial up-gradation .from the corresponding Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800, grade Pay of Rs.4600 to the immediate next higher Grade Pay of Rs.4800/- and Rs. 5400/- in hierarchy of the recommended revised Pay Band w.e.f.the dates mentioned against their names subject to verification of IntegrityCertificate /Vigilance Clearance, Work & Conduct by the respectiveAdministrative Departments under intimation to Planning Department:-

-2-The officers concerned may be allowed to- exercise their options if any under

FR 22 within one month of the issuance of the order granting the financial up-gradationunder the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme to their AdministrativeDepartment directly.

However, the grant of higher Pay Scale is subject to the undertaking that in theevent of over payment, which may be detected at a later stage the same will be recoveredfrom their pay.

The Head of the Department concerned is requested to ensure before issuing thefinal order that 20 j 30 years regular service of the officers does not include the period ofservice rendered in State Governmentj Statu tory body Autonomous body j Public sectorOrganizations the period of past service in these bodies is not counted for grant offinancial up-gradation under MACP Scheme. (Point No. 10 of DoPT OM dated 19.05.09).

The concerned Head of the departments are requested to issue formal order forgrant of the financial up-gradation in respect of the above mentioned officials working intheir department. However, bc~fore the issuance of the formal order the Heads of theDepartments may again confirmed that these officers have completed 20/30 yearsregular service since the date of their initial appointment and are clear from theVigilance angle.
