SUMMARY Android Development Hackathon was organized by Google Developers Group LNMIIT Jaipur.

The event was structured around coding for a social cause.

Commenced on 30th January, 2015, this was a 48 hour, non-stop android development event.

The participants were under the excellent guidance of our mentors:-

1. Mr. Rohit Gupta, Associate, Google

2. Mr. Nishant Patni, IIT Bombay and Kellogs School of Management Alumunu, co-

founder Alley

The applications developed were in association with "Smile Foundation" and "Culture Alley

(Jaipur based android application Development Company)" who gave the problem statement to

compete upon. We had one winning team for each problem statement. These 2 problem

statements were evenly distributed among the teams.

OBJECTIVE

The objective was not only to build outstanding android application only for winning but for

contributing to the society also. It mainly aimed at involving young and enthusiastic android

developers as well as designers in exhaustive android development for 48 hours for a social

cause.

The event was divided into 2 parts, Prototype Development for 4 hours, followed by Application Development for the rest.

Through Prototype Development round, this event also focused on getting participants

familiar with principles of rapid prototyping, brainstorming and prioritizing the most important

as well as the creative features for new application development that would make their

application outstanding.
